I do not see a ban on insurance would be possible. Russia would ignore it and cover the risks themselves. The proposal to stop buying oil and gas by the EU is just as difficult to enforce. They need every state to accept the plan and Hungary looks as if it will not. I have spent the last few days considering the way forward. Unless Putin stops his invasion and retreats I am of the opinion he will re group and continue towards the Baltic States and what was behind the former iron curtain. At present I think the EU is a busted flush. Putin does not show any fear in what the west can do to him. He is logically logical...Economic sanctions will not top him. Very sad scenario. I have been studying Stalin. Its worth reading up a bit on him. It gives an insight into Russian attitudes.

I would have thought this must be a buying opportunity here. The delays are controllable and the prospects remain just as
good. Sice the fund raise there appears to have been good long term progress . Ireland should resolve itself and then the turn around should happen.

The number of ships arriving in the Uk is always a good indicator of trade. The Baltic bottoms was in the past. Just look at the drop off of large containerships over the last 6-8 weeks at Felixstowe and Thamesport. Never seen so many stuck in Chinese ports when I look at MT... In a few weeks the shortages will start to become a problem for insustry and retail alike.. This cannot be blamed for a change on Putrid either.

Auson is right and seems Ukrainians are now blowing up Russian infrastructure and oil instalations. All in all we must expect an awful lot of volitility....

Only advice I would offer is keep away from high bridges and small ledges. Can result indeed in large dips. Currently I am attempting to avoid banks of the food variety...
