Very shortly the school and local authority contacts will need to be re negotiated. The rise in fuel prices and wage inflation will be a hard battle to be had. The company also said it was looking at DRT (Demand Responsive) and that is something with fuel prices as they are to be a huge new area of profitability. I just wish a few in government would see the future.
I was at a meeting a few years ago where even intergrated ticketing was poo poo'd. Cross town ticketing is still lacking in lots of towns.

Not sure I agree with you that cash is king. I have been really occupied elsewhere in the land of January. I visited the gardens and the Angel....He will know. Today I shall do nothing and observe the next round of interest rate rises as they happen. Over the weekend the number of cars on the road was notably less. The figures will not inspire a rise in the sp under the present climate but if they are smart they should bring out Black leg for sale on the railways..

The results seem ok. Company beginning to grow. Going to hold.

I bought myself a senior railcard last week to go with my bus pass. For the first time trave by train is cheaper than car. Whilst I know a car standing idle suffers depreciation but it is owned outright. In future it will only be used when there is no alternative. Shame cos I like listening to Smooth radio. You cannot do that so easy on a bus or a train..

The government have lost control. They have no plan and are making decisions on the hoof.. I sold out last week not just this at 32.60p but a number of others. I am looking for evidence that something positive will be done to stop the crazy inflation rate. I am unable to look at my portfolio so much because of other commitments so why fly about in the clag when you can land and await evidence of blue sky. Windfall taxes have knackered the north sea. Sadly you cannot negotiate with a T@rd... It stinks.. If Russia stops to negotiate it will only be long enough to re build and attack something else. Our leaders need to grab a bit of street cred so bung on a windfall tax and hey ho scutte the North Sea Oil companies who have struggled and built up debt over the last few years due to the abysmally low oil prices. When the Fed raises the interest rate to 3.5% then hang on to your hats ... We have a generation who has never experienced anything much above 1%. I really am gutted at how we as investors have been mugged...Shall not ring 999 though because if that is failing to perform...

I am surprised at the performance of the sp here. I started using B and M more recently. Also use the garden centre at our local store. Problem is more long term though. They rely on imported goods from China and the ships have stopped arriving at Felixstowe and London Gateway. Numbers are well down and this is because of backlogs caused by the Chinese steps to tackle Covid. What happens there causes shortages here in six months so I begin to get concerned...I am tempted to buy but retail is in the eye of the storm..
