I have seen Summers like this before. Too easy to act in haste and lose shed loads of money at leisure. My problem is as fast as I make it bills turn up to remove it. Mme Spin is taking her friends out for dinner and muggins will pick up the tab. Last week it was 212.00 quid.....

Sad but this share is not good for long term investment while the computer traders play. One has to buy on lows and take small profits on the opportunities. I just do not want to spend my life with my eyes glued to the screen and fingers on the sell....

Someone has to do some.. Off to get some more bits for the vessel. These toys are a complete waste of money!!

We as a country are floundering. I am not interested in all these so called hats in the ring> They have all been involved in
allowing things to become what they are today. What right have they to pick a new prime minister. It is the choice of the electorate. In a few months time all we will see is misery on the news as poor families complain about being unable to survive and that they were not warned of the depression .... I remember the crash of 2008 and was lucky to ride it out. Holding a few shares here is at least something which should be worthwhile but without a viable government anything can happen.

Wind fall tax looks as you say somewhat shaky now. Seems large numbers of politicians are now groping around in the dark trying to find a way out of a very bad place...

Down 17p from the high but just about managed to hold 20p. You do get a better ride than on one of Putrids missiles. (you never know where you will land) . Guaranteedn though not tp be the place expected. Just have to sit this out and remain CALM!!

I bought a second lot yesterday pm. Never expected the turmoil in Westminster but think Rishi going may mean the WT is scrapped. Not overly worried about the investment here. My even add again. Oil is a constant in the economy at the moment. My worries are the Deputy Bank of England Governor on Today prog saying they will do what is necessary when to date they have had no idea what was necessary!!

Do not rely on me though to pick you up on return from the beach at Dunkirk. The speed of the repairs on the vessel would require you to wait for Xmas. You see all the relatives though!!

I totally agree with what you say but if the muppets in Westminster fail to have a plan then who knows what befalls us.
This windfall tax could just fade away or it might become a more general mayhem. We need a stable fair price for oil or what we witnessed yesterday will get out of control. Everywhere you look people are demanding this or that and the pounds are just becoming worthless. I have just had to agree a sum for some essential work on my property. It is double what I expected. I just cannot do it myself. Cannot even escape on my boat because I am still waiting for a repair to be completed and they are short staffed. The damage was done in February!!
