Really good analysts trade for their account or get poached to work in-house & profit share in hedgies. we get to see the forecasts from the also-rans.

… perhaps more accurately, what they predict or calculate, rather than what they think, but that’s a bit filosofikal, innit.

The AI chat programs are not financial research programs. they just scrape whatever humans/internet sources have already said about cloudtag and J&J, irrespective of truth and/or accuracy, and then produce something which they think is typical of what humans might say about the topic ( but again, with zero regard to whether true or not).

…. there doesn’t seem to be anything up on any lse or advfn board for that company, which simply don’t have active threads, but presumably there will be other non-uk boards where J&J shareholders might be interested to learn that their own company has apparently done a large deal, according to public postings from amit, but with their own company saying nothing about it.

(? from a regulatory and governance perspective, that would seem to create the possibility of a false market in J&J shares, if significant price sensitive company info is not shared transparently and in a timely way with the market as a whole?)

Now that he has very explicitly named J&J, there may be a better chance of getting one of the financial diarists/journalists to run a small piece. (i reckon a journo has more chance of getting a prompt response from J&J than cotter does.)

Hi moxie, the underlying point is a fairly straightforward one … if amit is very rich (& i do not know how much money he does or doesn’t have at this point, and tbh I doubt you do either), and cloudtag genuinely had hugely valuable tech which has already been sold for many multiples, then why would amit keep selling supposedly cheap shares to pis? …why not just fund it himself, if he’s so rich?

I think moxie misses the underlying point being made by AIM4. … if amit is very rich, and if cloudtag really did complete deals selling valuable tech/ ip for huge sums, then why keep selling ‘cheap’ shares to pis to fund any remaining expenses?

… surely, wealthy amit would lend the company his own cash, or buy those extra guaranteed multibagger shares himself, rather than charitably hand randomer pis free money?

i think it is possible that at some point J&J will tell someone that they have nothing to do with cloudtag, just as hugh risebrow did. but i don’t think they would sue amit, because I don’t see how J&J could demonstrate that amit had caused them any meaningful financial or reputational harm.
