RE: RNS24 Oct 2015 16:51
hi JR, i agree with your comment
on the use of 'allow' in the RNS.
as ever, such RNS leave a fair
amount unsaid, so pis & observers
are left to do a certain amount of
interpretation. (kind of what these
bbs are for, sometimes.) alternative
view on why accounts are not yet
published would be more because
there were discrepancies yet to
resolved in the books submitted --
however, the RNS does not read like that;
it seems to emphasise that the hold-up
is to do with getting sufficient funding in
place, presumably to be signed off as
a going concern. if one takes that
together with the move to newer, larger
premises, it reads as through DAN is
going for a boom or bust approach; some
of its critics have pointed to the high salaries
& bonuses it pays out, & high cost base
overall, & have suggested Dan needs to do
stricter cost-control -- but hire of larger office
space, &, arguably, this 'funding package' if
larger than bare minimum needed to plug the
accounts, suggests that instead of tightening
its belt, DAN wants to leap forward with some
aggressive expansion. no pain, no gain?
gl all honest and civil folks.
