rylidan, sure, it's possible. one of many reasons i would always be very hesitant to short micro-cap AIM shares like this, up moves can be v v sharp. c ya.

hi jr, i don't honestly know. but at a common sense level (- for what that matters in financial markets, lol!), it seems to me that if people who were subject to such restrictions on their share holdings were allowed to additional rights to get extra shares by subscribing to convertible issues then they would be doing it all the time, in various companies, as it would be such an obvious loophole to get round that restriction? but who knows, maybe a lawyer could draft an odd convertible which only becomes genuinely 'convertible' if a specific regulatory restriction is lifted. would be complex to work out how to price such instrument. (it's not my field, tho' , so just speculating.) ... who knows, maybe DAN shareholders are about to get lucky with mr epsilon making a straight take-over offer? that would count as a kind of 'funding package.'

re 07:55, how would issue of a convertible bond/debt to rt fit with the restriction on his dan share holding (since it does have equity implications)? would that be permitted? ... that other idea, a straight loan from rt would be really interesting to follow...

no, i have no idea what you are referring to. i have not made price predictions, nor buy / sell suggestions. and tho' i was pretty suspicious re suspension, i did not make the kind of correct and specific strong prediction on suspension that alexios & eric did (and which they got right, of course). & i still think the sp was 'massaged.' you previously said back on monday, that you would 'reserve judgement' until the audited results were published on 30th sept, when you could see 'the full picture'. but you now seem to have changed your mind on that & be unambiguously positive about what this suspension means .... might it not be wiser still to wait for what the 'full picture' is? (mind you, waiting now obligatory.)

northern, i suspect there was no sell off today as there was some very careful share support operation in the market to try to ensure the price at suspension not looking too grim on the current accounts for certain larger holders. but that's just my personal opinion. (tho' i think ericeric posted a similar thought before a string of posts got deleted by admin. those can all of course still be viewed at another site.)
