all very well, but where might she stand on selling off parts vs keeping the whole? (i'm not interested in taking her out on the town, just with what direction she will steer this behemoth.) she is an insider, so presumably has been able to at least *appear* sympatico with witty, but she is not a life-long GSK insider; spent much more time in her career with l'oreal than with GSK. me, i want GSK carved up, please.

have cashed in a small percentage of my holding this afternoon in hope of a little retrace when i can pick 'em back again, but it just keeps on rising, well, win / win. gla.

BoD sensible to have agreed this. still waiting to be convinced how big the upside might be, but holders should probably welcome this deal is in place.

doing a good job imv. recovery in progress, with cost base much better managed, & better attention to feedback from their customers (& potentials) re pricing structures. less flashy / talkative BoD, but that's no bad thing imv. still pretty risky overall, but decent upside. so i'm still in.

and upwards into the unexplored uplands of the 270s, lol. i find it hard to believe we will stay around here short-ish term, & kinda expecting we will see 248-253 again within the next month and have top-up order set down there in case. but quality earnings are in demand l/t, so on balance i remain a pretty happy holder here.

i still hold, and have recently re-set my sell levels higher. looking for £60 please, but not in a hurry. might take a while to get there but i think their pipeline looks fairly exciting for 2017, tho' with risk.

maybe just bored mid-level folks? -- who felt the urge to buy or sell something in order to demonstrate their purpose, or fill the yawning existential void? (futile) problem with larger trades, we can be tempted to believe that larger trades have rationales which are underpinned by better financial understandings, but that's often not true. follow the money, only sometimes works. too many people incentivised to be active. dunno what's happening with recent trades, but the overall corporate picture appears ok enough, and that differential seems huge. the catch might be that word "yet" in last RNS. wish it was easier/cheaper for me just to sell the dhwt/dhwa spread, instead i'm just a holder of dwha.
