what do you mean, djm1? - i am not the one distorting the actual words
of the RNS to fit with a preferred interpretation. the RNS did not state
which social media communications were involved — the optimists here
have preferred to *assume* that it relates to one specific tweet, but they
are choosing to read something into that RNS which it did not actually say.

not long to go now before we hear about new nomad. i am still
sticking with my earlier, upbeat prediction that they will get one.

tut -tut Ian_ ! “... following social media speculation ...” could be referring
to plenty of different things that have taken place across various forms of
social media, including share discussion boards, multiple tweets from the
company itself, emails, WhatsApp group messages, telegram groups, etc.

the RNS simply did not say that the suspension was because “someone
tweeted” - quote it as many times as you like, but it still does not say that. it
simply refers to ‘following’ social media speculation of some kind, unspecified,
then says the issue to resolve is ** clarification of its relationship with CITIC.**

not correct. that is not the reason for suspension given in the RNS.

PP, the last RNS did NOT say that EUA is “working with CITIC Merchant”.

all it said was “conversations with CITIC to date have been
with CITIC Merchant Co. Ltd...”. — but it did not clarify what
those ‘conversations’ were, nor whether there is actually
any meaningful working agreement between CITIC & EUA.

please note i have not included people who offered multiple, conditional
share price guesses (e.g. 10p if X happens, but 20p if Y happens instead.)
i have also not included bobrad's 0p prediction, as i think that was linked
to the idea of EUA never coming out of suspension, but this game is
specifically about COB price if it *does* resume. good luck all honest folks.

‘next few months’ ???

the three of them put in a total of just £50K between them. given the chunky
amounts they have been spending on themselves for director renumeration,
that is certainly not several months worth. (+ given the way these guys operate,
they have probably awarded themselves an additional £50K of pay recently in
recognition of the masterly way they’ve been steering the ship through covid19!)

lenoman, plenty of other companies do that, with an RNS along
the lines of ‘this is to give notice of a change in nomad, from
snodgrass & sons to fishface & daughters, with effect from xxx”.

? what would be the plus point of telling the market that you’ve lost your
nomad, before you’ve agreed the next one to take over, unless you had to?

... if there is some kind of planned change under way, which is happening
because EUA actively wanted to switch to a different nomad who has more
relevant expertise, for example, then they’ve been going about it in a very
ham-fisted manner. the sensible way would have been to line up a confirmed
new nomad, then issue one single RNS which announces the resignation of the
old nomad name *at the same time as confirming who is being appointed as
new nomad*. to do it like this is either taking an unnecessary risk (i.e. losing
the original nomad without having next one fully signed up) or causing some
extra uncertainty /stress for shareholders by not telling them who is lined up.

hi trilla. i haven’t seen anyone suggesting any “improper” relationship
with CITIC. i think the issue more about how much real substance there is
to it. ... so on one extreme, there are some posters who appear to believe
that CITIC and EUA have been working together very closely and in great
depth, & have effectively already reached a point where CITIC has helped
to organise a sale of most/all EUA’s asssets at a high price, all just pending
dotting i’s and crossing t’s & handing over massive returns to shareholders.
at the other end of the scale are other posters who appear to believe that
although EUA may have tried talking to CITIC, so there were ‘conversations’,
those never progressed to anything more substantial and meaningful, with
CITIC possibly having little interest in what happens next to EUA. - and of
course, various other posters believe things in between those two extremes.

one of the interesting questions about ‘social media speculation’ is whether
some people who want the company’s shares to go higher have made posts,
tweets, sent emails, etc, which might encourage others to believe that has been
more substance & outcomes to the attempted conversations with CITIC than
has really been the case. but an alternative view from a much more optimistic
perspective, is that news of genuine deals/developments has leaked prematurely.

from the directors’ perspective, certainly better for them to get
their wages in cash and leave stefan to get payment in shares.

notice zero mention at all of what the BoD
are doing about their own v large salaries.

? anybody think there’s any chance they took a pay cut?

deeply unsurprising they were unable to get a placing away.

where are they planning to get the $3m for that additional chunk
of aje which they agreed to buy? - they can’t even find the deposit.

they don’t have the grace to say what interest rate they
have agreed to grant themselves. milk it before it folds.

granting themselves very generous strike price on those warrants,
given that they will reset it to the lowest price used for any placing
over the next two years, if the company survives (which i doubt).

FSPO capacity an interesting issue — it clearly has some significant unused
capacity for storage, which would be very handy, but much storage space
is already included in their current deal, and how much would come at extra
cost? could be a nice situation for current FSPO owner, short-term at least.
