amers, i did not report RNSman for being relentlessly & prolifically rampy.
he was entirely entitled to make those kind of company focused posts, imv,
tho’ up to readers how to interpret how selective he was being re which facts
he chose to present, & to gauge when speculation blurred with factual posting.

what changed was that RNSman started threatening to go onto other
LSE chatboards to make personal attacks & disruptive posts against
other posters who posted sceptically on EUA board, & he also started
encouraging others to join in those intimidatory & disruptive tactics.
RNSman then began carrying out his threats, posting insults on ESL board.

that is when, and why, i reported him.
do you think it was OK he was doing that?

LSE chatboards are moderated discussion boards, with
t&c that peeps sign up to when they register. there are
other sites available if individuals prefer a board that
allows any kind of insults, threats, foul language etc.

for sure, RNSman did tend to be polite
to posters here if they agreed with him.

meanwhile, still no RNS.

i post clearly and honestly what my views are about this company and this
board, and in keeping with LSE t&c i aim to refrain from obscene language
or personal disruptive attacks against other posters. i don’t think much of
repeated rampy posts, but i don’t attempt to stop others from making those.

you may not like what i post, that’s down to you, but that’s not “duplicitous”.

i don’t know for sure why LSE admin did finally decide to delete RNSman’s ID,
as they don’t announce their reasons. but i‘m happy to say i did report him
this morning, & probably others did too. he had previously made some posts
abusive towards others, but this morning he embarked on an additional tack,
explicitly threatening others with a more sceptical view of EUA’s prospects that
unless they stopped posting on EUA, he would make disruptive posts on the
boards of shares he thinks they own. he also incited others to do that too. he
then started making abusive posts on ESL board directed at alansugareatyour.

it is against LSE t&c to make abusive posts, but it is also contrary to LSE t&c to
attempt to interfere with other people posting, which RNSman was clearly doing.

i think LSE admin had given him a lot of leeway with his belligerent posting, but
the deliberate attempt to intimidate others to stop them posting on EUA may have
been a step too far for admin. (but maybe they just twigged it was a duplicate ID?)

but being suspended doesn’t stop the company from
becoming insolvent, and being suspended doesn’t
prevent the company issuing yet more shares, if they
could still find anyone gullible enough to buy them.

so many of them used to claim that any sceptical posts about WRN etc.
came from ‘shorters’, who were supposedly terrified of being burnt by the
prospect of aiden & friends building multi-billion $$ conglomerates, lol.
but of course, there never was any evidence that there were shorts of any
significant size against WRN. PB78 used to one of the main cheerleaders
for WRN before he got banned from LSE - he now posts on the other side
as copperwindow93, where he’s recently been accused of being a shorter,
or of being tom winnifrith, because he’s expressed some doubts about
another company he has shares in, EUA. ...sauce for the goose & all that.

(copper’s also posted there how good he thinks TW is at identifying frauds!!)

the stupidest claim of all came from fonters, who said that ‘shorters’ in
WRN were very worried about the ‘gifting’ of whetstone shares meaning
that anyone short WRN would therefore automatically become short in
whetstone (an entirely separate legal entity). did he seriously believe that??

addicknt, they did make a decent chunk of money by selling out the whetstone
shares which they had parcelled out between themselves for a bit less and a
bit more than one penny a share — sales listed on the published confirmation
statements showed that included some chunky tranches dumped onto gullible
pis privately not through britdaq, and even after britdaq had kicked them off.

one reason for walking away simply that GSC & associates had fully
sold out already? - and i suppose realised they had little chance of
persuading theIr captive punters to take part in any new fund-raising.

- they would have made even more if they’d managed to get away with being
admitted onto NEX, which would have boosted liquidity & would have seemed
a bit more respectable than britdaq, but fortunately NEX either got cold feet, or
quite possibly imho had a word whispered in their shell-like ear by the FCA.

no idea why tim lyle allowed himself to be used by
whetstone. not one of the finer parts of his CV now.

but i'm sure there are plenty of differences too?
... as just one example, WRN was not on AIM.
WRN really was a shocker, EUA may be better.
(not many companies could be as bad as WRN).

interestingly, when WRN first suspended, it just said that it had
asked for the suspension itself. however, well over a year later, it
finally disclosed that it was *ordered* to ask for that suspension.

RNSman 23:03 today: "I would [sic] worry about delisting first it won't and secondly it would be 12 months away."

12 months?

RNS approved by Nomad on 9th April 2020: "... if a new Nomad is not appointed by 7am on 29 May 2020 admission of the Company's shares to trading on AIM will be cancelled."

penguinz, note that if the company does delist from AIM, ‘protection’
shareholders get (lol) from AIM regulation would no longer apply.

‘mere’ suspension very different consequences from delisting.

penguinz, maybe take a look at what happened to WRN?

suspended for years, now in compulsory liquidation, the
FCA are investigating, after v high volume trading with the
share price surging alongside very upbeat company RNSs.

the RNS at 08:14 on 11th feb states that if you have
any queries about the suspension, you should contact
the nominated advisor, and they give a phone number.

share price tab links onto britdaq still — they might want to update that...

at the bottom of the tab for ‘home’, there appears to be a functional set
of fields for sending a message to whetstone. anyone got a message for ‘em?
