the company can choose to lay out the information in an
RNS in whatever order or sequence it likes. there is no
rule requiring them to put the most important thing(s) first.

it is pretty common on AIM to see companies forced to release bad news
doing their best to bury the negative bit(s) within plenty of more positive
sounding padding, and trying hard to put a positive spin on the bad news
(e.g. entitling a section, ‘proposed change of nomad’, rather than ‘resignation
of nomad’). not every AIM company does that, but loads do. caveat emptor.

the only reason chatboard posts would matter would be if this was
one of those problematic AIM companies with no real substance, where
the only way to make money is to use social media etc to pump & dump
essentially worthless shares onto some bigger fool (e.g. as per CTAG).

but presumably the enthusiasts here have more confidence in EUA than that,
& believe it has deep fundamental worth that anonymous posts won’t alter?

if this is a resource rich company on the bring of signing deals in
billion dollar territory, why on earth do you guys get so bothered
when some anonymous poster doesn’t share the enthusiasm -
surely, there is no way that posts on a small time chatboard will
make any difference whatsoever to whether EUA assets get sold?

cj62, i kinda agree with you, providing that people don’t
try to pass off their speculation as factual. but if it’s ok for
enthusiasts to speculate, that should go for sceptics also.

the only factual bit available is,

all else is speculation by others.

i do not know why they resigned, and i have
not posted any speculation at all why they
did - it is others who are “just speculating”.

plface, I’m simply pointing out that the RNS from the company
does not make any attempt to explain why WHIreland has given
notice (=quit). ...all the other stuff you raise, re Nomad’s financial
position etc. is stuff that people can choose to *speculate* about if
they wish. i am highlighting lack of *factual* info re the resignation.

very strange chatboard this. many enthusiasts berating sceptics for
supposedly posting things not based on factual evidence, but then
coming up with increasingly convoluted speculation about why the
Nomad has resigned, apparently trying to convince themselves or others
that Nomad has been fired rather than resign. but the bare factual bones,
the Nomad has resigned, and no reason at all for that has been stated.

i note that the company’s RNS refers to the issue about a loan from dmitry’s
company as problematic, and enthusiasts appear to be assuming that is
the reason, and the only reason, why the Nomad has resigned. - but again,
sticking to facts, RNS does not state why Nomad has resigned, so it remains
very possible that there are other, possibly multiple, reasons why Nomad quit.

... odd that the share remains suspended even following that RNS.

The the reason for suspension was to clarify the relationship with CITIC.

maybe EUA remains suspended, because the nature of that relationship has
still has not been clarified? - this RNS explains which part of CITIC they are
having “conversations” with, but other that that still does not make anything
any clearer about what agreements or relationship is in place between EUA
and that part of CITIC, if any. “Conversations” just ridiculously vague, imo.

retained within the company for longer term, not lost

i think that fairly feeble attempt to massage the price
ahead of an attempted placing is not getting very far.

but it wasn’t just AE? ... many posters on this LSE discussion board
took up the theme of a sinister mass conspiracy against WRN by
evil shorters & others attempting ‘tortious interference’. and they
helped perpetuate several years of angry, rude & paranoid bullying
directed against posters attempting sensible discussion about what
was happening. (probably meant more got suckered into whetstone.)

confirmation statement shows that the RAP CEO dumped
more than 2 million shares in his own company in august.

all we need now is an update about dear old NARC? ( oh, maybe
not.... because whetstone never actually invested in them, did it?)
