Ben Richardson, CEO at SulNOx, confident they can cost-effectively decarbonise commercial shipping. Watch the video here.
The last line of the statement released on the govt website makes me think IM has a long and prosperous future.
B9 Energy Storage’s Ballylumford Power-to-X project, Larne, Northern Ireland – This project paves the way for future large-scale deployments connected to offshore windfarms
BP. Christ, you know how to put the knife in............when will you stop? You say you're a shareholder, yet your every statement swims in negativity. All I see is yet another typical AIM tree shake and MM manipulation.
Anish moving in the right direction and hopefully the mentioned contract bids will materialize more than a pot of jam!
That burning car carrier looks like a write-off plus a lot more able yards are closer off the the coast of Spain.

Roly. Thank you for your informative summary. While it is reassuring on the whole we still have to wait in hope that an upswing will materialize.
In response to your question to Arun:
I explained my holding and timing to Arun including that I had advised family/few friends to invest which they had done..........would he do same, without hesitation his reply was absolutely yes, that to me is telling.
My question is why hasn't he added??
Si_derman. Regarding potential Belfast dock deepening the link seems to confirm what you say.

Stokey. Surely another placing if this "plan" goes ahead............“We’re still in the process of looking at plans to increase the depth of our building dock down to 13 to 14 meters, so that we can bring in the next generation, the next class of ships.
Consuela.
Rule 11. Expect all shareholders and regular posters to be very skeptical new posters with disparaging statements and declaring strong sell.
Seriously Consuela, did you run out of no gas caverns banners?
Loosegoose. I like many others here I came with excitement and high hopes for delivery of the IM gas storage project. IF, still a very big IF, the management secure a FID I'll look to recoup my considerable losses and depart here asap. I have long ago given up ever making the profit that JW led us to believe he anticipated before being diluted to hell. I recall him saying SP would reach 10 or 11p long before the consolidation. That meant 10 bags profit.....wow, I thought. In the early days my holding was almost 1% of total share capital, today it's worth a small fraction of that! I HOPE to depart here asap never to look back at all the wasted time, energy and anguish caused by this deceptive and cunning ceo. I'll happily leave the BOD still searching for a chairman, their next bonuses, their ships and wind projects and the never ending non productive pipeline. Waiting impatiently for my end........or will it be THE END?
Everything we NEVER wanted to know about the JR in N. Ireland. Time limits on page 31 is informative.

If JW and the bod are aware of this, and they damned well should be, we should all be expecting an RNS confirming "last hurdle cleared, FID negotiations with competing parties close to finalised!" Get your skates on John........
I wouldn't be surprised to see another "new contract" RNS this week featuring this tugboat! I'm sure JW will be pleased to inform us about their improving contract conversion rate.....
Unsavoury subject but maybe worth discussion.
Presumably Russian gas would be a no-no for a long time, hence need for IM gas storage.
Plus MOD contracts could conceivably go through the roof.......
Got to be good for SP, besides all the bird poop associated with war!? Thoughts people?
Stokey. No doubt JW is referring to the RNLI maintenance contract for hundreds of "potential" boats dotted around the UK. JW never tells Porkie pies! The pipeline always grows, not his nose. Contracts anyday now......

Apologies Stokey.....not Sokey!
Sokey. The following is the second half of the article which mostly portrays the gist:
Activity at the site is beginning to pick up again under the stewardship of Harland and Wolff, and Wood teased that there may be more to come.
He said: “Arnish is moving in the right direction. There’s certainly a lot of noise, and I will say noise at the moment, in relation to the work that’s going on in the Celtic Sea so let’s just see.
“We’ve got proposals into pretty much every single person that’s tendering – we can’t do anymore. But I think until some eggs are laid, you’re kind of wasting your time a little bit.
“We’re really looking for the offshore wind licensing rounds to come through and once they have, it will really tell us where things are going.”
Perhaps what is most notable about Harland and Wolff’s time in charge of the Methil and Arnish sites is the speed at which things have been achieved.
In less than a year the company has revived and started work on an offshore wind contract that looked lost, taken on a first cohort of apprentices and brought the dishevelled yards back up to speed.
Wood said: “When you look at these businesses, I think they move as quickly as the energy that you put into them. It’s all about positioning yourself.
“The striking thing for me about the BiFab situation is the amount of effort and ambition the Scottish Government seemed to have to help, and the complete lack of interest they’ve had since we acquired the assets. I think it’s because they got their fingers burnt the last time.
“We’ve made our own luck, pushed ahead and won work.”

Programs main news focused on the ongoing energy price crisis, short and long term remedies. Prof Dieter Helm, asked by the Gov to review the cost of energy (report linked below), had critical words on government inaction but believes the gov will now be forced to act on his recommendations including......wait for it.....MORE STORAGE!

Stokey. Ref 17.31, I agree entirely. HARL has followed the law and science laid out by Daera, hence the decision to grant. NGC argument, forwarded by bored housewives and NIMBY's, based on Game of Thrones location, exploding cavern wellheads and gross exaggerations can only fail with a capital F!
