Avyererdowt. For clarity..........
You forgot to mention:
1. Since 2019 the share issue has doubled, hence your £2 would be £1.
2. Yes, little did WE know a ML was required, but surely JW knew - everytime he mentioned the expected FID timing.
My greatest regret has been not selling at that peak. But WE were led to believe something that wasn't, in fact, there.
I say, who are they kidding?!

EU PCI summary regarding physical reverse flow from NI to UK.......I'm not sure I understand the issue. Are they talking about a modifcation to the existing pipe as there is no mention of the (previously talked about) twinning? If future (abundant) green hydrogen harvested in Ireland and stored at IM can be exported to UK would that increase the feasibilty, anyone?

Glad to see that ADDITIONAL STORAGE FACILITIES are already coverd within the gas storage licence on page 38. That's got to be another nightmare for the local Nimby's. I expect any further caverns would have lower construction overheads as existing outfall infrastructure could be used?
There's a certain irony here that, regarding regulatory process, we can rely on the protestors to inform us more fully than our own directors! Though that's unfortunate, I'm sure we can all understand why. I can't see that any remaining consents from the regulator will be delayed as that serves their purpose (according to their website - what they do).

Stokey.
I wonder if they can secure the funds in time??

Interesting facts and figures. Why is Ireland even in the list with no storage capacity??

Stokey. I have two points in reply.
1) I have never doubted BP's honour, only his/ her authenticity as an investor highlighted by his/her overwhelmingly negative remarks.
2) Regarding the marine outfall, it's clear now the local protesters were lieing or grossly exaggerating their claims of "dead zones in the sea" etc. From the DAERA ML approval, "The outcome of this assessment is that the project does not have a significant negative impact on the selection features of the identified designated sites. The habitats regulations assessment was also reviewed by an independent third party."
Agreed Stokey. It seems the reporters best friend is LisaD, who might have handed her the script for the article. Poor dear, I always told her it woud end in tears.
Si_Derman. Regarding salt for your hat I'm surprised our other hat eater Dawski has not chimed in yet on the good news?
Vox markets Jabido. Go well!
Herd will soon be arriving.........

Sooner or later, Islandmagee Energy hub WILL BE BUILT. The question is, will some of us LTH's still be alive when the share price finally reaps its rewards?! That aside, from the Hydrogen strategy paper there are many encouraging words:
PAGE 11 - The UK also has favourable geology for large-scale storage of hydrogen, and is already storing hydrogen in salt caverns and exploring storage in disused oil and gas fields under the North Sea.
PAGE 15 - •Need for enabling infrastructure: The use of hydrogen will require new networks and storage, as well as integration with CCUS, gas and electricity networks. • Need for supply and demand coordination: Developing a hydrogen economy will require overcoming the ‘chicken and egg’ problem of needing to develop new production and use cases in tandem and balancing supply and demand, including potentially through storage over time.
PAGE 19 - Northern Ireland is likewise well-positioned to accelerate hydrogen innovation and deployment, with its significant wind resource, modern gas network, interconnection to Ireland and Great Britain, availability of salt cavern storage and strong reputation for engineering and manufacturing.
PAGES 44-49 - 2.3.2 Hydrogen storage. Well worth a read - numerous references to large scale (salt cavern) storage. Notable that this will be required from late 2020's onward, as the hydrogen strategy scales up.
PAGE 75 - Hydrogen storage facilities may also play a role in providing greater demand-side certainty, especially when coupled with flexible power generation, which we will consider further as we assess future commercial arrangements for storage (see Chapter 2.3). The coordination of supply and demand, particularly the sequencing and geographical location of production and end-users, will also be critical, driven to a large extent by the evolution of the hydrogen networks and storage infrastructure, but also wider system considerations.
PAGE 87 - 2020's onwards: UK takes advantage of its natural assets, for instance in seizing opportunities for hydrogen storage.
PAGE 111 - UK GOV Commitment: We will undertake a review of systemic hydrogen storage requirements in the 2020s and beyond, including need for economic regulation and funding. We will provide information on the status and outputs of this review in early 2022.
Supplemental reading which I found quite informative, particularly as it highlights continued strong demand for natural gas all the way to 2050: https://www.nationalgrideso.com/document/173821/download
Chitta, let's hope yesterday's million trade will be swiftly followed by much more in the coming days and send our resident shorter running for cover to count their (hopefully) sizeable losses! I noticed they were still active with another 50k sell at the bell.......
and pressure will surely rise as winter progresses. Government rethink on gas storage urgently required. What good is Boris's speech if industry is forced to shut down??
https://www.theguardian.com/business/2021/oct/06/uk-industry-could-face-shutdowns-as-wholesale-gas-price-hits-record-high
500k buys this morning, SP static..........say no more!
AlbertoZ. Perhaps you should research more on Droderick posting history. On May13 he wrote, "I am a shareholder and I am also affected adversely by the dilution and placing price." He always seemed a decent, straight up poster.
I suspect your "theory" is just more Twitter shenanigans......
Wiseinvestor. Re: weighted, unweighted, it's JW's way of saying we're in the Euromillions draw with everyone else. Jackpot is a miracle but we're most likely to win a free ticket!
Oldtramp........and then there's the written evidence Infa presented to parliament.

Oldtramp. I suspect, now we're in the home stretch, he's gone to IM to pacify the local protesters. Perhaps a comfy sit down, with Lisa D and the nogascaverns bunch, some home distilled wine in front of a zero carbon log fire on the beach??!!
