Indeed. I would want to buy at sub 600, closer to 550 in a market correction/sell off scenario for the strong dividend this gives, along with its strong solvency II ratio, when the opportunity arises. Curious of DLG impact over next 12-18mnths assuming "UK plc" hangs together.

For now, current price looks good.

Been a decent run to 660. Heading to 700+. Current market is strong for Financials. Interested to see the Interim divi, and impact from DLG. Savings from that may be more clear in the outlook indications from the earnings call post RNS tomorrow.

Absolutely. It can bounce around 210 to 260 but for the 8.5% dividend and general stock purchases this looks safe and it's a no brainer hold for an income portfolio

Expecting Interim Div +5% to 6.3p on Wednesday. (in line with policy expectations). Should take 2025 dividends to 22.43p assuming +5% Final too.

however, it's about timing. some have done well from RR, NWG, IAG, LLOY. I like their steady progress and UK dividends are very good tbh.

Someone at Lloyd's should have heads on the block either way and put Lloyd's history of scandals behind them forever more with strong leadership.
