Is it just me that thinks we are been manipulated in the SP ?

I am starting to see patterns in the madness that is Genel SP.

1. Low volume and we get smashed with BOTs dragging the SP down over a few days that has a material effect on the SP as seen from the recent fall from 229 down to 208.
2. Closing auctions we have been battered for weeks now on a medium sized auction that is a few pence below the closing SP.

what are peoples thoughts on this, last night the auction was a nightmare 223 closing SP auction at 221.5p

POO is frothy and at a year high yet we are 40% down from the 300p hit last week yet tomorrow we will get a bumper FY

2019 is drill, drill drill , more oil , more oil, more oil

maybe even a small dividend as well as a much needed update on Bina as the othetr fields are pretty well known following the COO interview.

Honestly in these strange times of Brexit, trade wars etc you would think people would flock to safe stocks with lots of cash and churning cash like no tomorrow, even if POO at $45 we stack the cash.

thought greatly appreciated as I consider myself a large holder with 70,000 shares and this macro manipulations are driving me mad when we all know Genel could be on single figure PE for 2019

In my opinion these results could be a defining point for Genel. This company will be officially reborn on this FY results and 2019 forecast in summary :-

Last week was a great week in the life of Genel, the question is has Mr Market finally woken up ?

A couple of key things stood out last week

1. Volume - topping over 1M each day and guess what we go up
2. Belgin are back above 15% and increasing ? as some hefty buys last week which looked on the face of it as sells
3. Closing auction was positive each day and large UT's mostly over 100K

Now this could just be a rally upto FY but I actually think this is more.

There has been a real PR shift in Genel, that interview was outstanding and the guy oozed confidence going forward with a couple of key remarks

1. 40K production I quote ' we are today producing 40K ' there was no doubt about this statement.
2. we will be double the size, is this production or market cap ? who knows but it clearly stated we are heavily undervalued.
3. Returning cash to shareholders, this is game changing and opens up a whole raft of income funds buying stock.

No doubt about the ambitious nature of the company on the oil front, and at the FY I would really appreciate a roadmap to the Gas, I have no problems on a delay but in the interim we will do a phased build up at Bina and tap the light oil to fund gas going forward, but something needs to happen in 2019 or we are in real danager of missing the Gas boat.

and do like the Bill Higgins, the connection with Chevron is very apparent and I would not be surprised to see further tie ups with them going forward.

Genel is just oozing cash with a record payment for Jan and 40K production was mentioned.

going forward 2019 is now about stabilising and increasing existing fields with I expect further tie ups along the way as well as some significant development for Bina which if was a better man would be Chevron as the partner, who have a sweetener with the light oil.

I have to say in this edgy market what is there not to like about Genel which is one of only a handful of Oilers that are in this envious position of cash Positive which is growing by the day.

I am very excited going forward and to date in 2019 the news flow has been relentless, has the BOD been listening to the comments about radio silence ? I think they have.

2019/20 could be very dramatic for Genel, unloved at the moment but this has to change as the fundamentals cannot be held back any longer.

FY results will be blockbuster and very bullish going forward.

Another muted response I expect.

Just cant my head around the lack of Volume and interest in Genel at the moment, with everything going on you want stable debt free cash cows.

lol 10K sell after 100% reserves replacement WTF

It is like we are in the eye of the storm, 3 good pieces of news recently and POO holding above $60 yet last week we lost 14%

This is the year Genel brings home the bacon cash wise as well as ( Fingers crossed ) the fabled Gas deal which we are literally weeks away from now.

Yet today good news and not a single trade yet

Very odd share behaviour.

Indeed looks like they are working hard to stem the declines in the main field as well as ramping up Pesh.

I am loving this regular updates Jesus 2 RNS in quick succession, the next one could be the big one.

Still the market ignores, the longer the disconnect continues the more risk builds for a low ball offer.

BOTs in control as per the norm keeping the SP range bound.

what does that tell you, think long and hard as with 12 weeks to go this will be the final negotiations and lawyers drawing up the relevant paperwork.
