Some right dogs ralllying hard today who have way bigger issues with C19, big debts, etc etc.

YU still has people selling today at levels not seen for 2 years. They are either genius or dumb as posts and desperate for cash.

Sad thing is we already know FY and it was record breaking in turnover and H2 a vast improvement over H1.

The big questions are
1. C19 impact statement
2. Profit for 2020 ? Depends on 1.
3. Smartest effect on cash.
4. Lower energy prices affect ? POS or neg

Looking how stocks have rallied even after **** C19 impact anything can happen

When fear is at it’s greatest time to dig deep and get more if you believe. Any stock coming out with positive news is flying up.

YU. Need to make a COVID statement either soon or with the FY. Not looking to healthy at the moment. 150k sell hasn’t helped, at this rate will be 50p by results and all time low was only 42p and that’s when people thought YU. Was finished due to the FCA and accounting issue, since then revenue is flying , and a whole raft of business process changes, debt recovering reduced and new facility with smartest.

The company has never been better placed

indeed and Mr 10K picked up another 2 lots so far today

Wonder how the chancellors spending spree will affect YU group ?

Bar the rats scurrying at the open and selling at any price we have done very well today, nearly 50/50 buys to sells.

First point , they no longer have to stump up huge amount for forward engery contracts

Frees up £12m in cash and also de risks forward hedging so actually YU will benefit from reduced engery costs.

Yes some business will suffer no doubt about that and the risk profile on default will increase, yep get that, bit taki n into account YU have just spent 18 months getting rid of the crap on the books.

Therefore heavily de risked.

This shut down and carnage will be short lived 2 month pain max.

If you are trying to run down a stock there are many hundreds far easier to pick on than YU especially the ones with huge debt mountains.

Oh yeah YU has no debt just a huge cash pile

We already know record revenue, also 2020 should be profitable at some point.

My questions are how was 2019 H2 , how is Q1 2020 and outlook for 2020 I expect revenue is popping along the question is when is break even , impact of current situation and back to profit.

We are a defensive play, SMEa still need power, water and gas regardless of world issues, yes risks increase on payment but YU have spent the last 18 months sorting the dead wood out.

Considering the carnage on the markets a solid defensive stock doing okay. Not long to FY results.

For a while now we have had solid buying at 95p on any drop which makes me think the 60k was a buy.

Games are most certainly afoot in YU. With results 3 weeks away.

Surprised 60k sold for that amount on such a heavy down day, really hard to tell what are buys and sells in YU group these days. So such a large would have been delayed for several hours therefore could easily have been a buy.

YU is a defensive play which is very undervalued in time’s like this gold and utilities do very well and we have had a persistent buyer over the last 6 trading sessions buying up all the sells.

Can’t go wrong with YU in these markets

My theory is YU. Is a defensive stock, no matter what is going on in the world people and SMEs still need elec, gas and water to run the business.

Yes this will affect the world economies going forward and with no peak of COVID 19 in sight the risks are building.

But YU. Is a safer stock in comparison to 95% of companies in the UK.

Indeed if YU can stay as it is for 12 Month or more the Sp will be many multiples.

Non of the IIs hold shares anymore Miton and octopus both sold out during the dark days of 2018.

Therefore no IIs to pacify.

House broker Shore Capital will revisit its earnings forecasts after the full year results are released on 31 March 2020. The broker expects Yu Group to return to profit later in 2020 with ‘positive free cash flow coming ahead of this’.

Well yesterday was the reversal and today the buying continued, has the message now been absorbed by investors ?

Lets see what today and tomorrow brings as we are 6 weeks for the FY results at which point I expect the two new BOD will invest.

today was strong but slightly tempers by 20k of sells later in the afternoon but the buys v sells was very strong.

will the MMs let it fly or will the YU. bounce and crash rotation continue, because at some point the seller will get locked out once and for all trying to trade the bounce and that day is coming

I hope H2 was at or near breakeven. Bodes very well for 2020 if that’s the case
