at a loss...1 Aug 2020 01:00
Im at a loss to see where a ton of the comments are going...
1. If Synairgen can make enough to treat 20,000 at the moment, that can be done as a phase 3 trial at the same time as treating them. On average people die within 4 weeks so by the time they can scale up to treat 100,000 they will have the results anyway - i mean you are either dead, alive, discharde, intubated or whatever pretty quickly aren't you.
2. Tils - interesting as far as i can see, they 'trial' comprised 4 people x 4 different levels of does. 3 got a drug, 1 didn't. Maybe i'm wrong, but initial surf says that and the good doc waffled a bit when asked directly how many. Anyway sounded very few indeed so if tils gets though, then Synairgen will.
3. RNS: whats the point in stating something everyone knows anyway? If i ask you what will happen on a peer review, then 90% of the people on here will say " they;ll say it was a relatively low sample and a bigger one would be better and we'd have preferred a slightly better control for diabetes but we are excited by initial numbers now needs to be bigger". Dont need BoD to tell me that. Bloody obvious.
4. I think they can only produce a certain amount at the moment. To scale up they have to cut a deal across 3 companies and those other companies also working flat out.
5. I dont get the comments about they need to look after the shareholders... i would think they would think they have done very well by their long term shareholders who are massively in the money. Ive been in 5 years and very happy.
