Well that was an hour of my life I’ll never get back, after reading today’s posts.

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry at the stupidity of at least three posters, who reminded me of that great TV programme from the 1970’s, “The Comedians”.
It must of been the way they “Tell Em”, but all three of em have now been grabbed off stage by the Big Hook, never to be seen again as far as I’m concerned.

Thank god we have some fabulous posters who can counteract the nonsense posted by some, with factual, knowledgeable and honest responses.

It made me chuckle when earlier I saw someone post about “massive selling still going on”.

Jeez, the MM’s are making a fortune out of trading between 5-10 million shares a day. Not.

The only folk who are trading GGP, are the ones trying to replenish their stock of Weed & beer tokens.

This share has reacted like a dripping tap for the last two years on almost no trades.

Think what’s going to happen once we are mining, and the pressure on the buy side becomes under pressure.
It’ll be like 2020 all over again, with the ones who continue to invest here claiming the largest gains.

I remember waking up most mornings, seeing my portfolio increase by more than Premiership footballer’s wages. And I have no doubt at all, history will repeat itself.

Good Luck to all who believe in GGP, for those that are not too sure what to believe, then just look at the facts not the unsubstantiated heresay, from those traders who will say anything for their own agenda’s.

Hey Corrado, your post reminded me of a song by the Kursaal Flyers from way back.

Feb 16 (Reuters) - Newcrest Mining (NCM.AX) said on Thursday it has rejected the $16.9 billion offer from U.S.-based Newmont Corp (NEM.N), saying it does not represent sufficient value for Newcrest shareholders.

So just like I said, all those if’s & but’s discussion’s, that’s been rampant on here for the last 10 days, was a complete waste of space.

Can we now get back to discussing what we do know, and not what we don’t.

Paulb20, if your not fricken happy, then why don’t you just frock off.

Only last week a guy on a 50ft boat told you what’s about to happen in the not too distant future.

That guy, who for the last couple of years, who has over 80 million shares in GGP, let alone another 81 million shares in the shape of STARVEST invested in GGP, is holding fast.

Has he sold personally ?
No, not one share !
Why ?
Because he is prepared to wait patiently for his fortune to come to fruition, not constantly whinging because the SP has took a battering over the last couple of years.
Even STARVEST only sold a meagre 3.2M from their position of holding just over 84M, doesn’t that tell you something ?

If anyone knows what’s to come, it’ll be Callum Baxter.
If he’s staying put then so am I, along with many other holders of this stock.

I’m pretty sure if he thought 38p was the best he could get for trading in his shares, he’d of done it.
But guess what, he didn’t.
Why ?
Well that’s the million dollar question. But imo he knows a helluva lot more about where this is heading, than me, you or anyone else who frequents this board.
If he ain’t for selling, then neither am I.

If you think you can do better elsewhere, then sell.
Maybe you might just get lucky, but if life’s taught me anything, then jumping from ship to ship to try and better oneself, usually ends in tears.

GGP will be a winner, I’ve no doubt about it.
When that’s going to happen ?imo, probably within the next 18 months.
It’s just a matter of time.

Morning guys & gals, just. an update from my post last night why I think the NCM/NEW deal won’t be accepted.

First of all Newcrest didn’t offer cash for NCM, they offered a percentage of their own share price, which at the time of the offer was around 15% greater than NCM’s SP.

Since that offer was made, NCM’s SP is now 9% greater than it was, whilst Nemont’s is around 5% less.
So you’ve got to ask yourself, What would NCM shareholders be getting out of the deal.
Diddly squat, at today’s prices.

Not only would NCM shareholders not be benefiting monetary wise, but once the strength of the US dollar pulls back, which it inevitably will over the next few months, then they really would of been taken out for a pittance in real terms.

Just my take on proceedings, and I know many of you have yours, but come on, this is akin to one of those “If my aunty had balls” scenario’s .

FFs gentlemen, all I’ve read here for the last 9 days or so is “If’s & Butt’s and the odd post by the usual Trolls, trying to disrupt proceedings.

How many of you seriously think NCM will accept the offer posed by Newmont ?

The way I see it with the current offer on the table, not a cat in hell’s chancy will the shareholders or board of NCM accept such a derisory offer.

I really don’t know why most of you are even bothering to post such wild speculative predictions of what you think could happen.
Complete waste of one’s time if you ask me.

So if the AISC is going to be around $750, then we would pay $825 for processing.
I’m not 100% sure, so correct me if I’m wrong.

TBF not in my remit, but imo a helluva lot more than 7.3p once proven up.

How many ounces have NCM got in reserves, I bet if you valued that at $1850 per ounce it would dwarf their actual market cap.

You can’t just say that because we have 20M oz’s in the ground GGP are worth 30% of the potential $1000 per oz profit, thus valuing us at $6B.
It just doesn’t work like that, I wish it did, but unfortunately that’s what the market is there for, whether that’s good or bad.

Who on gods earth is going to shell out $60B.
That figure is more than the value of the Top gold mining company on the planet is worth.

It’s now been proven that the denisovans discovered North America via the land bridge between Siberia and Alaska that existed at that time, well before Columbus, but that’s a totally different discussion for another time.

In my view it’s confusing matters, especially if you have not been following the Havieron story for as long as some here have.

These theories are not actually encouraging anybody sat there, deciding wether to invest or not, when they see speculative posts by LTH’s, not knowing what’s what, and sewing seeds of doubt into what is happening or about to happen.

How many times have you posted “I have a feeling today is the day” only by close of play to be proven wrong.

Investing in mining stocks is usually a long slog. Patience is the key here, and I know for a lot of investors they get restless far to easily, like a kid in the backseat shouting “Are we nearly there yet”.

Just enjoy the journey, as it will definitely be worth it once we get there.
