So the question is, if the figures above are legitimate, then why have no TR1’s been issued by all parties owning above the 3% threshold ?
I’ve been shot down in the past when I stated that foreign ownership only needs to report, once they have amassed 5%.
Having now (allegedly) owning 48% of the shares, compared with 40% that the public own, how would the Institution’s vote if an offer was to land on Shaun’s desk ?
Now I know that some individuals own more shares than what is listed in the top 25, but I presume their details are not individually listed on the share register and are included within the 40% of public ownership.
Food for thought if what is reported above is correct.
No longer are we the powerful force we all thought.
Looks to me like the tide has turned and the professional’s seem to have made their move.
PS - I’m just surprised Tymers wasn’t on the list. ;-) ROFL.
