Great article and inspires confidence that the EV market could expand exponentially and very quickly.

In terms of the section on lithium extraction, alkamem suddenly sprang to mind. Is this a potential market for us I wonder?

UK has to have a balance between the different types of renewable sources. We can’t fill our fields with solar panels- we’ll need more local farming to reduce our carbon footprint. We can’t keep filling spaces and sea with wind farms as they’re costly to maintain and it’s not always windy. Subsidies on those types on renewables should be balanced with an increase in investment in hydrogen and tidal lagoons.
Hopefully AFC have been able to further influence government in their recent meetings.

I can’t say I’m impressed so far. A handful of Twitter followers or a handful of LinkedIn users doesn’t cut the mustard in my humble opinion.

We need newspaper articles, TV news spots and magazine articles. Get your name out there !

Interesting article.
1. It doesn’t fully explore the FCEV option of having ammonia as a fuel source. Car would require a cracker of course.
2. It doesn’t seem to address that swapped batteries still need charging. Enter AFC of course and our off-grid charging solution has even greater use as the battery replacement stations would require the ability to fully recharge multiple batteries that have been swapped out. It certainly gets around the range anxiety issues we all have with BEVs. Also, it addresses the vast number of houses/flats in UK that don’t have off-road ability to charge your car overnight.
3. I don’t think the article addressed how the swapped batteries would be charged and the massive impact on the grid at the battery swap forecourt. Again, a massive opportunity for AFC here.
If the BEV is the VHS of the EV market then I am confident AFC have a massive opportunity to influence the charging across the UK and indeed worldwide. Fingers crossed we get a partner on board ASAP

It’s been a couple of weeks now since the Acciona news so I suspect the updated forecast must be due any day ? Remember the updated forecast will be for ALL AFCs product streams, not just EV charging. I’ll stick with my original 60-65p conservative forecast :)

On that basis then Notes, the same applies to this board, sifting out the genuine from the downright disingenuous.

Hi sharesport - encouraging article - hydrogen and ammonia !- this is where AFC sales team should be focusing their efforts for 2 years down the line with the high density FC. Would make sense to alert shipping owners that we have a solution that will be available in 2 years with a potential collaboration

so, if Alkamem is being used via DeNora, why can't this be released - are DeNora still testing Alkamem for use as part of thi major expansion by ThyssenKrupp ?
Sounds like a hint to me, otherwise why would AB publicise this ? Are we close to an agreement being signed ?
