I wonder if AFC are in contact with Pod Point. Could be a good relationship to grow as a solution provider where grid connection is not possible or impractical?

We should all be united, especially in these unprecedented times, none of us have witness this before I imagine. All I see on this board is bickering and negativity, as if there isn't enough negativity in the world right now.
I am an independent contractor. I've just come off a call where I thought I was going to lose my job - the project I've been working on has been canned and there's a 50:50 chance I won't be extended beyond April 3rd, I'm hopeful though.
People out there in the UK, right now are losing heir livelihoods as a direct result of this virus. Some vulnerable people will undoubtedly lose their lives to this disease - this is a heartbreaking situation and it's happening right now !

For those that love to see the SP decreasing (along with other shares), for shame on you for exacerbating the situation ! AFC will be putting their employees first before the share price. Their efforts to commercialise will not falter I'm sure. It may take a bit longer but after this virus has been put snuffed out, I hope this is a long need wake up call to the world that some things have to change:
1) global investment in pandemic research and coordinated response processes to be put in place
2) a cleaner world with new industries like AFC to ensure we have a stable planet for our children to inherit
3) adequate provision for the elderly and vulnerable in society to pay back to them what they put in throughout their lives

There's enough doom and gloom out there folks without having to read more on here. Time to get a grip.... ALL OF US !

Hi Malachi - and you know why the high streets are as they are - because people are ordering online and can't be bothered to get off their backsides and support local towns and villages. Yes, online shopping brings major benefits on different levels but there's a trade-off to ensuring we support local businesses and communities. People will surely complain bitterly when there is nothing left to go to. Government has a much bigger part to play in this.
you only have to go across to mainland Europe and see the many small retailers that proliferate major cities, serving their area. We cannot and should not go down the US route of only having shopping malls and online.
Yes this is off-AFC topic and I'll not respond further. Just my opinion on this subject.

For goodness sake mucksy this is the AFC board. Please stop filling it up. If you believe in that stuff it’s your prerogative but you’ve made your point now move on ! If people want to read about it, it’s there for people to research, as it’s always been. I received an email from Sainsburys CEO this morning (not just me I hasten to add) saying exactly the same thing. There is no shortage of anything. It’s just a matter of logistics and getting it back on the shelves again as demand is so high. He has asked people, and quite rightly, for shoppers not to stockpile and think of those who are unable to get said items due to pure greed. Only buy what you need for your family’s needs for this week. We need to think of vulnerable people who can’t get to shops or, if they do make it there’s nothing left fo them. It makes my blood boil how stupid and selfish some people can be !

These people will be wiping their greedy ar$es in 18 months time with the same stockpile that they’re buying now.

Morning. I can’t remember if the 2 sales guys were permanent staff members. AFC can see a clear market in EV chargers. This would be a separate business arm and would require a separate sales team, especially if this becomes a global venture eventually. A company without a head of sales would appear unprofessional. With Tom Pollard, they have sales experience but more importantly, target market experience with many existing contacts. Maybe the role will extend then to diesel genset replacement business arm or indeed if that market is as big as we think, then that will eventually require a separate head of sales to run that arm of the business. All very positive and controlled in my opinion when you sit back and analyse AFCs moves into the commercial world.

Daz that’s not an opinion. I welcome opposing opinion but when people are blatantly and consistently deramping then that’s not on in my opinion.

Daz9643 - that was a despicable post ! Companies such as AFC employee people directly and indirectly. They have the potential to employ many more people once established. Companies such as AFC will help in the fight against climate change in the coming years. To say that AFC is lie in the sky is utterly disgraceful in the current position the world is in both with virus in the immediate term and climate change ongoing. In my eyes you are a failure as a human being and a failure to society.
You should be banned from LSE and go figure yourself out for a few weeks!

FFS ! Don’t you guys see the positive in anything? The markets are collapsing around us. We have a company still forging ahead with commercialisation and AFC have found a sales person with related experience in this relatively new market. We need to hit the ground running with people who know the industry and WHO HAVE CONTACTS already.

Makes my bloody blood boil seeing such blatantly negative posts. If you’re invested here, get behind the company or get off this board and take your pessimism elsewhere!
