I’m not a fan of “pre-news” which seems to be the way of our news culture. What is the point in telling us the news before the news conference? So, as a result of this, on the BBC article on the £3b deal the chancellor will announce tomorrow, there’s no mention of hydrogen

The methane gas network won’t be capable of transporting 100% hydrogen. It’ll be a mix so you’d have to spilt the hydrogen out again which will cost.
Another option will be Hiiroc (a big IF of course) comes along it could convert all of the methane into hydrogen

Daz- “ unless it’s free hydrogen, ie being flared” ? That discounts any other type of green hydrogen techniques being developed, potentially even being used by one of our own products, Alkamem via electrolysis.

Nonsense Daz. You’ve just made that up ! One of the major benefits of AFC fuel cells is that they can run on less pure hydrogen. Other rival companies have to use pure hydrogen which is a lot more expensive to produce. Ammonia will be a more effective and efficient way of storing hydrogen.

What if there are sales in the pipeline along with the stake in ownership that catapults the SP into those seen with ITM and Ceres? Is this our only hope that any dilution is mitigated by sales revenue streams we’ve not contemplated ? We have the UK government announcement on hydrogen strategy hopefully in the next 3 weeks and of course we have the partnership with Acciona which should not be underestimated. Diesel genset replacement is a massive market for us to get into and we’re set to enter that market not only with any international construction firm but an organisation that has an expansive environment interests that could further provide additional revenue streams for us.
A deal with De Nora has always been inevitable in my opinion. They have invested time with AFC for a number of years and seem to have taken us in a direction where we now have a commercial and cost effective proposition. That time spent with looks now to be at the inevitable pay back stage potentially. Dragons Den springs to mind. De Nora and Acciona could be the making of AFC from this moment on if our SP suddenly becomes significantly higher than our current level. Just my thoughts, trying to process recent positive events. TH. there’s so many different markets out there that require cleaning up, the mind boggles! Originally, AFC were adamant that we would be sticking with stationary fuel cells but that direction has clearly changed with the “dry” cells coming along for 2022.
If we can establish ourselves with this week’s fundraising with firm orders in the near future for EV charging, electrolysis applications and then diesel genset replacement in the next 6 months then that will open up significant markets to us and we could see AFC as a major force in the UK and the rest of the world, decarbonising and creating new jobs. Exciting times ahead now that we have this significant funding behind us.

I agree also that the funding generated this week, at a time when the country is still facing great uncertainty following the Covid crisis, is a fantastic achievement by AFC and should provide us all with much needed confidence and validation that the varied product streams in place will secure our path to becoming fully commercial in short order and a much needed income stream. Which begs the question as to why this wasn’t RNSd? Was the information deliberately withheld so as not to over inflate the SP?

So many ifs and buts as you say Rob. All we can hope is that AFC have a clear and transparent use for this huge sum of money and that we finally see that increased shareholder value that the bod are duty bound to deliver.

Hi Pitlik. Probably just coincidence but after I emailed with various concerns, the alkamem update was released.
If enough of us share our concerns then hopefully they will respond.

Chippyjo- maybe time for an email on behalf of the shareholders group? Maybe after tomorrow’s news from Government though. If this news has no impact on AFC then we have grounds for concern as to why there is seemingly no media storm or marketing activity taking place when we’re supposedly “commercial “

So why aren’t people emailing their views directly to AFC? Far better to do that than post on here. I did last week.

Red_hornet. You know full well that muscorum has not made any such posts. They are always measured and balanced posts in response to blatantly inaccurate posts that aim to under or indeed oversell AFC.

Red. If you have bought shares based on a “this time next year...” comment then you are the only one to blame as you will not have done your own research.

Besides, if you truly believe in the company and it’s prospects, you have bought in at a level (the SP has clearly reached that level previously), then it is likely to reach that level again as we receive more news. It just won’t happen in the timeframe you might have hoped for. I have bought in over the past 10 years at all sorts of levels. In hindsight I have regretted some of those, but with some averaging down and a lot of faith that the SP will return as a result of facts we know about, our investments and commitment will come good.
