Good article. It mentions all of the airport transportation will need to adapt to hydrogen. So, a massive potential here for afc if EVs are to replace all of the ground vehicles that support the aircraft

Would be good to understand Verditek’s thoughts or maybe this would even compliment the graphene developments?

You don’t know that asanthius and neither does Daz. Yes, Afc are low on details and that leads to made up assumptions by us PIs but they’re that, assumptions only so they are NOT fact !
We don’t know what the Acciona deal will bring on the back of it and the advertising as a result of Extreme E will be world wide.

Daz - what a load of misleading tosh. AFC could take you to court for such comments! You know Acciona have taken an order which could lead to many orders if they’re happy. DeNora remain actively involved and of course we have the extreme E order that will showcase EV charging. Adam Bond has also suggested that we should not be impatient when expecting EV charging contracts to pop up quickly, especially during the current pandemic. Please refrain from your misleading and constantly negative comments. You’re clearly deramping.

Daz - you can say that about any piece of specialised equipment. New engineers will need to be trained up. AFC have always mentioned remote monitoring of equipment so faults can be monitored. Additionally, the design of the equipment is such that the cells can be swapped in and out easily.
Take a look at wind power. They’re placed in some extreme and inaccessible places. They’ve had massive investment and also require specialist professionals to maintain them

Well, I've been invested here a few weeks now. Bananaman2 mentioned it on another clean tech site so I took a look here. Lots of informative posts on here, well done. Good steady progress so far despite last week's blip but a promising future ahead in a world that will be seeking a lot more efficient and clean technologies. I've steadily increased my investment over the past coule of weeks.

This board is toxic for a large proportion of the time!
One glint of good news and it miraculously transforms into positivity before quickly retreating into negativity and picking holes in the minutiae of detail. Detail none of us will ever know about unless we work for the company.
We're invested in a company - we either go with it or we get out, simple as that really. Constant talking down whether for personal gain or plain moaning is tedious in the extreme.

I have just emailed a director of Amey Consulting after hearing they have been appointed by Swansea City Council for a proposed sea defence project on the coastline. I thought it would be good to raise awareness of AFCs genset replacement tech ahead of any proposed works. Suggest we all contact such companies if we hear of any large construction projects ? Big sell on pushing their environmental credentials and supporting fledgling British clean tech companies. Every little helps ! :)

You’re not overthinking Minty. I raised this dome months back. I’m thinking about changing to an EV. I have a driveway so it’ll be fine for overnight charging. I also have a holiday home which is in a terrace so I’m thinking how would I charge the char there? It’s difficult getting a space on the road let alone outside the house! So range anxiety comes into play.
