Great positive RNS for AFC and for EVs. SUVs are very popular and it’ll very positive in terms of sales in the EV market going forward perhaps.

What’s more interesting for me today is the subtle introduction of a whole new market for AFC... hydrogen production via electrolysis. We know De Nora have been helping out here but I guess we all thought our tech would be helping De Nora. Are we now to assume that AFC are now in the business of on-site hydrogen production? Could this be the holy grail where grid enhancement is not required as much and ammonia storage and cracking is not the only solution? I’d love to know more about this new area please :)

DW get a life man. For years you’ve been calling fo AFC to improve PR and when we have a contract that will be brilliant for PR on a global scale you diss it. You’re a confirmed deramper!

You mentioned verditek a few weeks ago on the AFC board. I took a look then and after some initial research have invested a little in a few occasions here. My investment here seems to be doing a lot better here at the moment.
I like the idea of solar on residential properties but not the ugly panels that have persisted to-date. If companies like this can integrate their solutions into roof tiles or roof spaces that are currently not utilised then the future markets for Verditek are spectacular.
My gym has a massive roof space that could easily use light units and probably become self sufficient.

As stated in the Fundraising RNS “ The interim results are expected to be announced in the week commencing 20 July 2020.”. So, we should hopefully receive an update as to specifically how the new funds will be targeted.

Actually, 30p seems reasonable given the confidence that the recent fundraising has provided. Talk of £1 is fanciful but peers have achieved this in short order. However, we will require a lot of news out of AFC before anything like this happens and that news should be orders related or partnership commitments.

Trouble is Klunk, it’s left to us all to guess at these things. Not one of us knows what’s actually going on behind the scenes or what it is we’re waiting on.

Klunk - ridiculous comment. It’s called PR and advertising. Keep getting our name out there is all I’m suggesting. We have these incredible new funds for a reason. There’s confidence that we have the right product at the right time so let’s start selling ourselves!

So I just heard the Chancellor say that the government are investing in EV charging infrastructure. In the same way ITM did yesterday around H2 generations, why oh why aren’t AFC doing something similar via the Social Media ‘storm “?

Tell the UK how we can address this programme in certain situations where grid enhancement is not viable. Tell us how you’re helping the government achieve their goal.

Daz - we discussed the point on pure hydrogen yesterday. You were incorrect yesterday and as B’man2 has also pointed out, you are wrong again. These subtle but persistent inaccuracies which clearly are trying to undermine AFCs tech should cease.
I am as frustrated as you and everyone else that we’re finding ourselves in a news vacuum once again but now cash rich with £32m in the bank. Keep to the facts though please

Just no mention so far whatsoever on UK H2 economy. Government had been directed toward this opportunity on plenty of occasions and Europe will steal the march and leave us standing. Not even the expected mention of EV infrastructure in the UK ! Yet the ridiculous HS2 scheme goes ahead with little gain for the country as a whole. Wouldn’t it have been better to open up closed lines and put EV/H2 trains on that serve local communities better?

Could someone explain please? If Norma have declared a drop in their shares owned then they will have had to sell shares in order to get there. What am I missing?

I sincerely hope so chaps. I’m sure we’re all just as frustrated. It’s been a long haul and I’m remaining invested as my view is the same as when I first invested, that AFC has the potential (it’s still potential) to provide a good return on my investment but more importantly, add to the economy, new jobs, climate change mitigation. I still believe it is a disruptive technology. But let’s crack on now please!

FCI - to be fair we’re always waiting for news from AFC and whenever we do it relates to potential down the line.

If we’re commercial now and have at least £32m in the bank there’s a darned good reason for having the funds raised in such a short order. Crack on and tell us what and who the funds will be used to service. An order book to fulfil or are we building stock for the shelves for potential customers?
I’m probably at my most frustrated today than I’ve ever been with AFC and that’s been 100 years invested here.

We need to be part of the post-Covid strategy for investing in our economy and making significant inroads to climate change mitigation. The time in NOW!
