The dissolution rate is important, because it shows the drug can separate to release the API within intestinal fluid at a quicker rate than the original form, this typically leads to better absorption rates within the body.

The released data proves that the NFX version outperforms the standard.

For clarity on dissolution and bioavailability.

Olaparib (Lynparza) has a very low solubility and is classified as BCS Class IV, which is the worst performing in the Biopharmaceutics Classification System.

So, how to improve the bioavailability.
Its widely known that dissolution and bioavailability are linked. See Amidon / Lennernas 1995 paper 'The Correlation of in Vitro Drug Product Dissolution and in Vivo Bioavailability'

Now refer to figure 12 of the NFX patent for Olaparib Oxalic cocrystals which demonstrate test data showing the cocrystal version has a better dissolution rate than both standard form Olaparib and also previously patents Oxalic Urea cocrystal.

Reminds me of exactly the same with Redx, posters joining to say the company had nothing and was never going to go anywhere as there was no data, then AZ came and outlicensed long before phase 1 (they still don't have any data).

But hey, we should all believe someone who set up an account here a week ago, on a board for a 6m mcap company with typically 5 or 6 regular posters, got their first prediction completely wrong and says they're happy to see us all lose money.
