Good afternoon Yorkshireboy,
I'll try to be succinct in my response in my best Simon Armitage way, although its difficult to reduce the complexity down sometimes.
As on overarching position, I understand that you are looking at the timeline of the patents filings and issue which you have then cross referenced to the news from RNS.
Unfortunately I fear you may have not understood that Canadian government documents use the format YYYY-MM-DD, whereas your post (6 jul 22:33) works on the YYYY-DD-MM, therefore your timings are essentially wrong.
Ref: see national Standards Council of Canada for confirmation.

This would mean that the first patent #1 (CA 2846460) was issued prior to any deal with Ebers. So is not relevant as you thought as it is dated January, not September.
Furthermore, on the patents pages you link to, go to the documents tab for the patents and you can read each of the correspondence over time between the company and patents office. This shows that the work done since filing has been to ratify a number of the initial claims, not amend them to incorporate cannabinoids.
If you go through each patent you are interested in and open up the documents section, these show the process that has been gone through.
So, now we look at APREPITANT L-PROLINE.
We know that APREPITANT is sold under the brand name, Emend and that L_Proline is an amino acid part of proteins, so this shows that the cocrystal is formed of those.
Again the documents section identifies theses cocrystals and doesn't indicate any use of cannabinoids that would place it in the Ebers camp.
The Ebers deal does appear to be ticking along with work happening, but unfortunately I do not believe the patents you refer to relate to that work in particular. They may do in future, but not in the links you gave.
Enjoy the rest of the day.
