You would think a PR company would be telling them to put it on the website.

Anyway, as a partial defence of the company, they are small, with the board all being part time (except Joanne) and only two full time staff. (Jo and Alex) who should be busy on the science rather than admin.

Valid point Older, I guess its more my frustration that Oxilio seem to choose their own valuation, whilst the market hammers the company who holds all the value.

It is also worth a thought on the £2m cap on royalties.

People have criticised this as too low, but they are fundamentally not understanding the situation with the Oxilio agreement.

Typically yes this would be low if NFX were licensing NXP001 in its current form. But no, they are licensing the IP which is then being reformulated and sold on by Oxilio.

So, Ox do a load more work, then out-licence their 'OXL-001' drug which is a reformulation of NXP001.

Now say Oxilio did a deal with a major for that drug, they might get say 5% royalty. So if sales were £100m, then Ox would get £5m.

So then NFX get a percentage of that capped at £2m p.a.
It may not be much in the grand scheme of things, but people are missing that it is not NXP001 itself that is being licensed.

Thanks Older, I still think its ridiculous that since Oxilio are not in the open market they can effectively self-value themselves at £20.3m mcap, yet they only have £600k in the bank and no IP whatsoever.
Yet, NFX are valued by the open market at £13.6m and own a number of patents at advanced stages ready for commercialisation.

It may be possible that Oxilio have someone lined up to buy say 49% of their shares, leaving the two founders as controlling party. That would raise £9.98m and keep their valuation the same at £20.3m

Kane, on Companies House. They announce their share placing which ties in with them saying they were fund raising in March.

On 31 March they issued 1,667 shares at £66 per share = £110,022

So now they have 308,711 shares in issue at £66 each giving them their valuation of £20.37m

I actually don't think its NFX who are the issue with NXP001. Oxilio geared up for a big fund raise in March, new website, released their financials, valued at £20m etc etc, but then only raised £110k.

It may be that the option for the license had predetermined figures that Ox now cannot achieve, but are trying to haggle down. Not something NFX would be at fault for.

I don't think its time they need but money and Ox don't seem to have much.

Maybe Walbrook could kick off with a campaign called 'Stop Selling NFX Shares!'

FX, She was a freelance consultant, only a part time role, paid as and when needed.

True that, I guess its better than nobody being involved on a PR front. There must be some expectation of something to talk about.
