Today was a positive update for long termers, the fact that they have kicked off the latest round of studies shows work is still ongoing and the confirmation they are still in discussion around NXP001 helps remove some of the creeping doubt on that front.
With NXP004 going in for studies now, its clear that is what JH was wrapping up before her departure today. It would have been nice to get a feel for their timescale on this but they are keeping everything surrounding it well under wraps for what must be a good reason.
Hopefully we will get something on Oxilio soon, if only to provide some positive sentiment.

Hi older, I was viewing it just as pure volume, rather than get into the semantics of the word.

It’s impossible to know how many shares have only travelled in a single direction. But as you say if the same shares that are bought are sold then the churn is a lower figure.

I think it’s just important for people to understand the volume over the past couple of months, particularly when people are trying to say DT and AC are holding back the price. The volume shows this is definitely not the case.

Julian Gilbert appears to have connections with Oxilio as the only other company they deal with is headed up by Robin Bannister who co-founded Arakis alongside Gilbert, which they subsequently sold to Sosei Takeda.

FX, the one thing to hang on to is that since Oxilio have taken up an option to license, i.e. a contractual position. Then if it had failed it would have been RNS'd as such by now as it has material effect on the company.

Things like the innovate grant were only ever applications for funding so not required to RNS if they didn't get them. Legally they would have to do so with Oxilio.

My view is that it is still on track. It's also worth noting from the December interims it was only talked about in terms of being resolved in H1 2021.

Bridge, there has been previous proof of concept, namely VR588 Kinase Inhibitor cocrystal NFX developed with Vectura which was subsequently licensed out to Kinaset Therapeutics.

FX, I disagree that they would 'develop' NXP001 in oncology by themselves, they said they would seek business development opportunities, which means finding someone else who would take it on.
The company has been clear that with NXP001 any reformulation is by others.

Ganners, we know what is going on with the products and the development timeline.

For now we just have to wait for the conclusion of the NXP001 licensing talks, frustrating I know, but no company is going to tell you how that discussion is going mid-way through

NXP002 we know the timeline being feasibility through to Q3 then further development through 2022.
