Shorts seem quiet and perhaps have reason to be worried. Still not totally clear on the situ and so hopefully we will receive an official RNS this morning. Assets being added back in and Evraz not on the sanctions list can’t be bad though can it. It’s a British registered company regardless of operations in Russia. Are McDonalds or other multinationals going to be excluded from stock exchanges because they operate there too? I think not. Hopefully the £1.88 is correct. If so shorts will be squeezed today massively and we will be back to £1.50-£2 before the £1.88 is added on Monday. Nothing confirmed for sure but hopefully that will be the case. Either way, this current price is nuts for a business like Evraz. Short term or long term it’s going back up.

So many £990 or thereabouts buys. HL won’t let anyone buy more than that at a time. Release the shackles and let people buy the number of shares they want….. or are background buys causing this bottleneck? Hmmmm?!

What is indisputable is on most platforms only minuscule amounts of shares can be bought at a time. If immense selling was happening then buys would be easy. They aren’t. There may be selling but there is almost certainly massive background buying.

It’s a multinational company with buckets of money in the bank. That’s how.

Not sure any company can say with any great certainly that future Div’s will be paid in the current climate. Why would investor relations commit themselves to say something they can’t confirm. This div will be paid. Hopefully future ones too.

Because it’s not a Russian company. Worst case he could seize the parts of the company in Russia but most of that coal non-renewable has recently been separated from Evraz. Nothing to see here. Normal service will resume shortly.

Completely agree. A voice of sense and reason amid all of the nonsense shorting and deramping. At this current price (although there is of course risk associated) EVR is an incredible bargain IMO.

Yep, might well drop out of FTSE 100 (in fact it will) but will still be in 250. Will make very little difference. Will also be back in the 100 soon enough.

So, Jimmy/Sara, on your DebtCamel site will you be arguing for the company and court to go easier on shareholders now? Ultimately, if its unpalatable for shareholders (which is it) then it will be voted down and everyone will lose. Its now in your best interests therefore to support shareholders, no?
