Hindsight is a wonderful thing if i had sold all my vod shares during Trusses debacle and invested in LGEN or AV i reckon i would have made back all my losses....Said it before this stock isn't for the faint hearted......Think i'm one of the lucky ones my average is 127p (ouch) have chatted to someone on here there average was 170+.....

Wish i had your confidence in buying and selling...I tend to buy and hold although saying that sold a lump of BP a few weeks back happy with what i sold at even though they have gone up since another 10p or so...looking to off load some of these as well when the price goes back up was looking for 140 think i'll be waiting a while for that...

They are referring to the next divi as the big one because it's the final divi which normally is around twice the interim amount....hope that helps

Hi Rob.....One thing for sure is that this stock never fails to disappoint....Not as bad as you only down 24.6%...Have been thinking of getting out recently wish i had sold up during Trusses debacle and invested in Aviva think i would have recouped my losses by now....will hold on till the new year see how things stand then make the decision whether to sell all or part of my holding....

Dan I think Trek is anything but stupid...He is well respected on many bb's on here with good insights and thoughts so he puts "Usual caveats" so what......Doesn't matter it's the substance before that matters agree or not....Coming to think of it where's Mikey when you need him.....

Oh sorry there's me thinking i was being clever.....Bought this after trek mentioned it...he seems to have a knack of picking good stock bought into GLO after he mentioned it on one of his posts made a killing on that...Now he's gone into VOD already hold there so hoping for good things in the future has been a bit of a rollercoaster though not for the faint hearted.....

DEC declared a 4.25c on the 8th Aug and the ex div date is the 24th Nov which pays out on the 28th Dec....Hope that sorts that question out....

Agree....It does stink but i did say EVE were done 6-8 months ago it's tough i know lost a lot here lesson learned... think you have to let it go....
