Nice one Fred......winner again....Rob can you put me down for 140 think it's gonna fly this week just stumbled across this
https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/markets/article-11020233/Vodafone-Group-Three-considering-merger-UK-divisions.html
I brought at £13.70 a share so the divi is around 6% if you brought today the divi is 4.65% and like you this is a buy and hold stock for me... hope that is clear
Some good questions Gwm.....i got into GSK last year just over £13 a share so happy to sit on the divi think it's around 6% as for Haleon it's a wait and see approach for me.....not sure what the divi will be.....but will be happy with 4% or above and hopefully will be paid quarterly....
Living on the south coast i'm off to the garden beer in hand....
Yeah think you could be right Gary....Holding on on buying more as i'm guessing there will be a share issue sometime this year.....
Cheers Rob....Guys.......Think that's my 3rd win or maybe 2nd not sure have had a couple of beers so next week.....gonna go with a 130.2...Has been a another upward trend this week just hope it continues GLA
Yes Mikey a true champion shame he carried on in the last game but guess that's what winners do.....Just wish VOD had the same commitment as his as in with the share price.....onwards and upwards.....C'mon vodders
DGU do you think if DFS/or anyone else did buy EVE they would keep the management in place? And if so do they deserve to be kept on?
Stay cool brother don't know what your average is here but the divi is excellent so just sit tight unless you need to sale
It takes a brave man/women to put more money into this.....But if a buyer comes in you could double/triple your investment not for me but good luck to those who put there money where there mouth is.....
Well done Scratch.....Ok guys will go with the flow and stick to 128.5 for next week GLA......Actually wasn't a bad week for the VOD compared with the rest of the market...
Don't know what to say really .....But admire your honesty just learn from this and invest in safer companies not sure where is safe at the mo might be best to hold fire or maybe drip feed monthly in to stocks or funds would say banks are a safe bet but i'm down in LLOY and HSBA best of luck to you and what ever you choose to do
DGU do you hold anything else in the market? i hold 15 stocks and a couple of funds mainly ftse100 stocks feel a bit safer the AIM market has a lot of risk but a very good upside if you pick a winner.....
Yep think VOD is undervalued defo 140+ not sure about £2 this side of christmas but you never know....Now if Elon Musk said he was interested in VOD this would go up faster then one of his rockets I live in hope.....
DGU it's nice to see you realize the danger EVE is in I fully understand your commitment to EVE I like you and everyone just hope the BOD can pull something out of the hat but i won't be putting any more money here have lost too much already GLA
Didn't know you also hold LLOY Rob same as you in that department my second biggest holding after BP.....
Now now children thought with Dan on his hols Mikey would be left alone never mind tomorrow is another day if you don't like what Mikey has to say filter him out I find some of his rantings most amusing ......
DGU we have DYOR hence the posts on here maybe we are all wrong and you are right but even you must realize it's not looking good for EVE regardless of a buyout it won't be a lot 2p i think if we're lucky
yes is a dilemma i'm mortgage free on both properties my rule of thumb is pay your debts first....then worry about other things can see the lure of the markets but not the AIM unless you can afford to lose...as we both know
I still work have a rental property that is let with a steady income and a bit invested in the market i took a punt on this never again....big profits but a big risk on the AIM.....not 60 for a couple of years so plan to retire if i can afford to then so mainly go for high yield dividend stocks and reinvest have a couple of pensions as well how about you?
