Ths pays only around 17% of profit so I am expecting another 6c on top of 4c so far tho they intimated at a presentation there could be a special. However tomorrow is I believe only third quarter production figures so do not expect another divi yet?
On scrap of course it is always there, however Rh news has stimulated my garage man to remove years of accumulated scrap from his bunch of wrecks, and as with gold when everyone starts talking about the price more scrap comes out of the woodwork, but with Rh this supply is very limited so any increase in scrap is imho only temporary.

Super where do you get up PMs up 45%. Gold our primary metal is down 10% (in sterling that counts for us) and silver our lesser metal is up 20%, our ounces and costs should mean if lucky we are about the same. However the key question on 21st is how new exploration has been going as this is vital for our relatively short life and expensive mines, and Bioatlantides news which should be good. The opposite, I am saying that scrap, mainly catalytic converters that have been lying around, may have been recycled in the last month with Rh hitting the headlines, aka my garage man, so anecdotally may have helped contribute to the price fall, but I doubt there is much left now other than to be stolen off working cars, so even greater supply shortage coming unless our increased output on Fri plus all the others that have recovered shrinks the deficit

I do think it may be symptomatic, as John Briggs suggests, that Brad George started by saying he had some old slides to rattle through before getting to the important new stuff in his allotted 20’. Then he proceeded to go languorously over the old stuff and had to shoot through the new, now he may be neither a good manager of time, or speaker, but a great geologist, however he is supposed to be running the company. My garage man told me today that a month ago he cut all the catalytic converters from his old wrecks for parts, accumulated o er the years, and sold them; a lot of scrap is denting the price but it may be a one off as with my garage man.

As asked yesterday, we will own 25% of our main mine, what percent does GGP own of its mine? If our main mine becomes worth £400million do we become worth £100m plus a proportion of the £3m we were worth before take off started for other assets? Would still be more than double now

Why naughty mm’s? Yesterday they had to keep offering more to tempt out the sellers, so they had any for the many buyers so price shot up. Today, as expected, profit takers and top slicers are out so they are having to lower prices to tempt buyers to take up these shares. It is a market. As someone sensible posted yesterday we are likely to come back a bit for above reasons, then hopefully settle nearer 30 or at least in 20’s till the JV pays their next $4m
On another note, of course Newmont Agnico will own 75% of the company’s current asset of value rather than the company but virtually all the current value is in this asset so comes to much the same thing and the point is if this asset became worth a billion our share of it would end up 250k, but wouldn’t that be lovely

He also said he is too poor to buy shares, and his room looked a bit tatty with a sheet in the window, maybe just to keep light out for the zoom. The shares are hardly expensive, but maybe we pay him very little. However I quite agree with MasksNewNorm that he is so much better than the usual ramping directors who keep saying their shares are undervalued and keep pushing meaningless news. I liked him and this has become a quite exciting long term multi million ounce one day company

Wise words raxfactor, also just as we went diesel to save co2 and got nox, now we are going ev to save that, but will get more pm2.5’s fro far more tyre pollution from heavier cars. Plus the battery metals and disposal as well as running out of electricity as our nuclear power stations are decommissioned. So THS will suffer only in v long term if they do. More immediate is although car sales are way up here, still 20% down on 2019.
