Currently need to get over 500k oz with aisc under $966, so output needs to rise about 20% and costs fall a fair bit more but that is what we are aiming at for 2023

I guess/hope we may get some news on court cases and concessions with the results in 10 days, the concessions should lead to a bounce, the interesting thing is what they do to the share price mid term, as the more we get the more capital it will need to develop them and the more risk that capital will go down a hole, but conversely the more opportunity to increase output and make more money. So the shares become riskier but more exciting and presumably the divi goes down again as the money is needed for exploration

Back down again so
A. Are we witnessing a dead cat bounce and will go on falling
B. Or a correction in a rise from a double bottom around 18
We just don’t know but will find out soon,
Ominous that Brads promised Easter results have yet to materialise

I have been slowly adding on the way down all the way from 30 to 18, obviously more people, with the opposite view to me, were selling to buying, as an investor I want to know why and how they think as here we are mostly bulls, so the likes of Webb are hugely useful to this board or one only gets a very one sided picture. If they are wrong we should be happy. It is great when people sell out of a share they continue to post their thoughts as want to see if or when or why they become bullish again. Thanks all!

Most stockbrokers hold your shares in a nominee account. Therefore they elect whether to take it in dollars or sterling, the primary currency of Centamin is dollars so Barclays Smartinvestor annoyingly take it in dollars, rather than electing that Centamin change it and pay sterling at the same time as dollar, and make you wait for up to a week to change it into sterling before you get it.

Yes let’s hope the next drilling news is great, as we saw last time quite good results lead to a tumbling share price, so mediocre ones don’t bear thinking about; we are brave holders….as you say fingers (and toes) crossed, mining is such a fickle business when the odds are stacked against shareholders

Politics also holding us back, Peru has the worst COVID in S America and at some points worst in the world, another risen epidemic now, 3 president in 6 months, another election. Ow and the favourite Lescano has pledged to spread Peru’s mining wealth more equally, which is of course lovely tho not necessarily for Hoc, if it finds more metal and makes some decent profits

Did a bed and isa this am, amazingly only lost 20 shares, or £21 for total transaction fee including spread. Usually I never bed and isa but sell, wait for settlement and hope price falls in the meantime before moving cash to isa and buying back, but this year don’t want to be out.

Therefore all of us smaller shareholders will be pooled as maybe half a dozen nominee shareholders, our shares owned within half a dozen or so stockbrokers nominee accounts, so 1000 is meaningless, though of course Tharisa relatively illiquid.

Oh dear. Is this the same Evil K who repeatedly recommended these shares years ago that fell over 6 fold? Hope won’t be same again now, but cost me a lot then.

No knowing what drill results may bring so some maybe selling in case a repeat of the reaction to then not amazing last results

I was wondering why the share price remains so low compared to profit, and wondered if it could be that the company retains 83% of the profit for huge capex and to pay down a bit of debt in good times. That means if the company makes a massive way higher $200m this year which is a 40% return on $500m capitalisation, only a bit over 6% is left for shareholder yield, which is the yield of a company like Centamin that establishes fair value considering political dangers that we have too?
