Feels like some major developments to be unveiled re DHSC contracts that is likely to fit hand in hand with a longer term role for NCYT with the Governement, NHS, PHE and DHSC.

This has been my exact thoughts for some time now. Something isn't right behind the scenes, or fitting with the main stream media view which is all about vaccination figures going up and up.

Why start closing our boarders now, why all of a sudden are they coming down hard on summer holidays.

Something is spooking te governement and I suspect all will become clear very soon though.

IMO vaccine passports are definitely not the way to go.

So you've had the vaccine but you can still transmit the virus.

Furthermore, you've had the vaccine bit do you still have antibodies? Antibodies will last for varying time lengths in different people and you may not be protected.

Graham is obviously a clever man and IMO has great integrity. The comments re the outlook left most in disbelief tbh as you have pointed out. Maybe though this was in some way true and intentionally downplayed. It certainly has helped funds to load up further ;-)

Definitely not joking MS but I think you've totally missed read my post.

You cant measure the effectiveness and the protection a vaccine gives against transmission when the country is on lockdow and the people who have had it are the least likely to mix of all. Transmission is dropping any the same is it has in all lockdowns!

We all want it to be true but until life goes back to some normality we simply won't know.

I like the way they say their trial data suggests people who have had the vaccine are not proving less transmissible to the disease.

Fact is everyone is on locldown and the people that have had the jab are the least likely in society to mix and desperately keeping out of the way of all contact until 3 or 4 weeks after they have had the second jab.

The vaccine news is nothing more than a Govt PR stunt to make people feel safer re the efficacy over extension to 12 weeks for the second dose and the transmission of the new variants.

Effiacy was not as high as they are saying now in the trial data. Its laughable really.

What is amazing is everything I turn on the news, some so called expert is trying to tell me how effective these vaccines are against the new mutations. Great success, great news they say.

Somehow, I feel the real story its not quite like that.

Tonight they posted the AZ efficacy numbers are being increased for 12 weeks efficacy to above the 60% from the trials.

Blatant propaganda IMO.
