The fact is and IMO from an accounting POV and I keeping with accounting standards. Inventories ascribed to a particular contract, that is stagnant or in dispute will be prudently written down, as one might expect.
Of course the complete bonus of this is that you can actually sell this product elsewhere, if it is saleable (in date etc)
Therefore, you may see this as a bonus for NCYT as they will be able to include this in any claim against the DHSC and sell it on too.
