I'm still excited about pow and feel it's underestimated in the projects they have and the money coming in from different ipos. We just need more interest from other investors. I still think that if we are successful on the US market, we will bring in more buyers.
I know I've been tempted by companies on the US market and then put off by it not being on the LSE
It's very difficult for some of us who already have shares trapped in dvrg or msys. I wish I'd known before I bought them. Just wish everyone who didn't know this luck and even if the company is bad, at least we need lady luck to produce something from it
Where were you Yankee a couple of years ago. Could of advised us all
Looks like I'll be sitting with worthless shares, unless they come back like ryanair or partner up. But I think I'm best marking it down as a lost money and try not to drown myself with thinking about it day after day. I hope GB and Nigel get some sort of karma because they won't lose any sleep over it
What happens to our shares if the company delist (which it will very likely) and still runs privately? I saw Ryanair delisted a couple of years ago, but I don't know what happened after that. Are the shares still held or do they drop from the site they were bought on?
We are only on the lse at the moment and have 18 buys/sells today and 20 yesterday. We had just over £1,000 in buys. Are you saying Roger we would see worse than that if we were on both the lse and US Market? I can't see us doing as bad as we see at the moment? It wouldn't harm pow being on the UK and US markets
A mention at the end on the application for the US OTC market. This is the RNS I'm watching out for. If this app. Is all successful, we need more marketing to bring in lots more new investors all over the USA. The conference is a good start if we can get some big investors ON market not Ricks giveaway sp. If Sean is going to give stock away at very low prices, this won't help us. And it's all good going on about ipos, which will bring in more revenue; but that's focusing investors away from POW stock onto another stock. Again something that won't raise the sp here at POW. (Unless when the ipo price rises, our price rises alongside at the same time)
At least we have a great portfolio, money coming in from the ipos and if one of the projects hits big enough, that will boost the profits. The problem pow has is not enough investors. There's companies that have debt, no ipos linked to their company and little news and still have more buyers than we have. The uk market isn't very interested in mining or minerals. They are more interested in banks, shops, supermarkets and pub chains. The uk government talks about a greener future, but do the people in uk really care.
Imo Sean should of waited for the US market application approval before going over to the US for conferences. All imo
Sean is at the New Orleans conference according to the RNS this morning. Hopefully he can bring in some serious investors on market. Yesterday was shocking; £301.40 in buys. This is pathetic and no way will raise the sp.
Quote from SW. "I am also pleased to be delivering a workshop on the Company and its strategy, and I look forward to networking with interested parties and valued investors."
I'm going to be like a stuck record again and we need this US OTC pinks to be successful. Sean has meetings abroad, but the US market is the nut we need to crack to bring in more buyers. The US tend to love the minerals like gold etc
Hope everyone has a great weekend
Roger wouldn't be happy if he woke up with a smile.
I'm a long term investor and haven't sold any of my shares with pow. I think I remember Roger sold some of his (who is complaining about the drop in the sp)
I'm looking at the bigger picture here and definitely believe there will be a turnaround in the sp. Especially when we start selling on the US market. Sean is releasing this RNS to try and encourage more people to invest and Roger is trying his best to put people off. If someone new came here and read the posts, they would probably get put off by some of these comments. Come on guys it's nearly 2024 and imo this will be the year things will change for us
I think majority of us have got a long wait for this to go anywhere near to where we would like to see it, but I'm sure once we have a bull market and some news that brings in the buys again we will be all happy. I've decided to hold all in as I've been doing and ignore the sp and this chat for a while. I don't think we will hear anything about the Uranium and usa market application until next year now. Good luck everyone and see you when we are back above 1.00 ;-)
Imo. I would try and speed up the process of putting POW onto the US market and marketing more to encourage in more investors. Its easy to blame the projects being slow, but if they just stuck the drill in everywhere as quickly as possible we would be blowing the money very quickly. They need to take the time to find the perfect spot to drill. I definitely don't know anything about geology or drilling, but I'm guessing it's not that easy to pin point the exact location of the minerals. If that was the case then we wouldn't be worried
Sean needs to do something about this sp. The projects are all running in the background and he's working hard on this; but we need something done to bring the sp up. I know I mentioned we are the ones that control the price by buying and selling, but come on there are worse companies that are hardly not making any money and release news perhaps once in 3-4 months, but these companies have 100s of buyers and sellers every day. Even the ones in debt have more buying. We need Sean now to concentrate on the share price. The projects will eventually have a great outcome we should know that by reading the website and the rns news releases, but with an average of 30-40 sometimes less buys/sells; at tiny buys a day; we have no chance. People need to stop moaning about Sean and the projects, unless they can suggest a way to find the minerals quicker. Its easy to sit on your butt's and act like experts.
It's Sean and his team that need to bring in more investors on market buys to encourage further buying. More marketing and even discussing with RR and his friends to buy on market instead of off market
0.0065, that is what they closed at. Perhaps lower once it hits the market again. I'm really hoping they come back higher though, its going to take ages for me to break even. I'm not selling until I get my money back and I'm going to be waiting awhile. I'm happy they have got rid of GB and moving forward. He has made a complete mess and they have alot of work to put in now to clean things up. Any news on deepverge with modern water?
Anyone else in the same boat that didn't sell?
If Sean is a second hand car salesmen, what does that make you? Next time you're in a big open ground, have a look at it and guess where you think the minerals are. They have all this fancy equipment and experts that scan the ground, but pin pointing where to put a drill can't be that easy as we none experts sitting on our butt's guessing think. Sean can do all he can with the projects, but he has no control of the lousy SP. We're the ones that control this by buying and selling. Pow has 2,080.11m shares in issue. Compare this with other ipo's or other companies on Aim. This is the problem; too many shares in issue and not enough buying. If we were on the ftse 100/250 perhaps this would be better, but that isnt guaranteed we would sell more. We need to be on the US market as well. Look at these massive companies on the ftse 100 and majority of these are on the NASDAQ etc. There is probably alot of people over the pond that have heard about pow, but don't want to invest on Aim lse.
We got fantastic news on the bonanza gold in Tati and hardly anyone bought; so this is the fault of the shareholders.
I'm unhappy about the sp as well as most of us here are, but all we can do is sit back and wait for things to get better. This is why Sean is looking in Saudi Arabia and working hard on the other projects. We need to be patient. MFC isn't a small piece of land, so think about that next time you're out walking ;-) Otherwise if any of us know how to find the minerals in the ground quicker and cheaper, please contact Sean ASAP
Maybe it's just the uk market. We could discover more bonanza gold and the biggest nickel find known to man and the British Market would shrug its shoulders and the sp would remain low. Perhaps if we discovered a magic well full of beer we would have a better reaction in the uk lol
