The SP lower today is a GOOD thing. After reading the weekend news re jobs, seeing Europe go back into lockdowns, seeing countries pull use of AV vaccine, seeing the Roche deal....this is free money. I just offloaded a ton of other stocks to get more of this CHEAPER.

Personally as a biotech company I am more concerned with their science than their PR. That seems to be WORLD leading.

This scramble for news on this stock is like nothing I have ever seen before. It’s tiring. Read the government documents re when the will set out long term diagnostics and testing strategy. It’s really not long to wait and Ncyt can only operate on the same time frame. Or would you like this news Head off PR to make a call “oi Han****, it’s Terry Tibbs, head of PR at novacyt. My pant wetting, dream chasing, financial and business illiterate, verucca salt-esque, retail, **** the bed, investor base refuse to operate on your time frame. They want to get risk free rich now. Not next month. You need to dish out the contracts now. Capiche? cushty”

They just rebalance their many funds for fund flows. Their AUM in individual funds is not static - people can put money in and take money out at any time as it’s not locked up capital. When they get money in the fund manager will buy shares across the portfolio and when they get outflows they sell. Largely the portfolio weightings will be the same and fund rebalancing done daily unless specific investments weightings are increased or decreased.

I own a few things with potential to make nice returns but nothing with such an increasingly defined pathway and opportunity set to be make multiple times return on investment. This could be one of those once in a life time investments if the prices of the puzzle come together.

You also have to be dumb to think the market makers (both the company and the individuals) would risk everything (huge fines, reputations, careers) by commuting market abuse just so unaffiliated will institutions can buy cheap shares. What’s it is for them? Nothing.

I have posted this same comment before also. If Icahn, Elliot, Pershing, third point or even any PE firm (kkr, cvc etc) appear as large shareholders then you know something is going down. But all these other funds are just known as real money. They are not activist and they are simply investing their clients money according to their defined strategies.

Porky why do you thing the system is so corrupt and stacked against you? It’s really not. These days research has to be completely impartial and debundled from any other activity or it’s not worth the paper it’s written on. Take a look at the MiFID rules. No broker or bank or individual at these regulated funds institutions will risk their reputations to help a takeover of novacyt or to help black rock full an order. It may have happens in 1980 but not these days. The fines are HUGE and the penalties long lasting. I can say from experience if you are in front office roles in a regulated institution you have compliance people monitoring every single thing you say and do all day, every day.

The city and the market is not against you/us/ncyt. Markets are not always short term rational., especially on AIM given the large proportion of financially illiterate wannabes on it. We just have to accept that or move on. We know this will come good and we know that any news HAS to be over the next couple of months.

I’m not even sure what that doc is. But it’s not a budget.

There is no link. It’s on Bloomberg. I can’t see why there is speculation. It’s a price target cos I said so and people can either believe that or not. I have no reason to make that up.

I still don’t have a clue what any share price will be. I am not a fortune teller. I can, however, tell you my views on the fundamental value of the company based on future assessment of its operating environment. In this case, oil and gas prices and production at various points in time. It’s not rocket science and it’s also not static. Oil and gas prices move as I am sure you have seen and every move (up or down) impacts pmo cashflows. Given the value of a company (and hence its share price) is just the discounted value of these cashflows i am sure you can appreciate that valuation is not a door number. It will move to reef or the rapidly changing environment.

Also my valuation above is for 2022 production and possible scenarios for 2022 in case you can’t read. It’s not meant to be gospel. It’s just a scenario. You get that, right? The scenario assumptions are all set out and l have been so I’m not too sure why you are attempting to belittle me smalltrader?

Short positions get unwound via the issue of new shares in harbour when deal closes. They will not be unwound via secondary mkt trades in pmo.

Bing how dare you. GM has a “duty of care” to ensure people do not lose mark-to-market money on short term stock market moves/noise that have nothing, I repeat NOTHING, to do with the fundamental value of the company he is building.

How dare GM not focus on making short term retail shareholders paper wealthy rather than creating long term value. How dare GM the waste time working at the scientific equivalent of the coal face to provide profitable solutions to a global pandemic. How dare he not be more concerned about bucket shop AIM market technicals and the day to day wealth of the pant wetting, cry baby, financially illiterate, get rich quick or die trying, dream chasers that buy his stock. He has a duty of care!!
