What is the closed period for buying shares?

A close period is a period, usually of two months, prior to the release of results during which directors and other insiders are not allowed to trade in a company's shares. It is also usual for companies to refrain from making other price sensitive announcements (e.g. trading statements) during the close period.

How long has this closed period been going on now? Serious question.

A company has the obligation to compile an insiders' list of people that have access to price-sensitive information - who is on this list? Will ECR provide?

Oh my goodness, that would be hilarious. Very careful eh? What legal action would they be taking may I ask?

Why would ECR not like being asked questions in a live space, Max? Do you think they have something to hide? It's a publically traded company after all.

Why can't AH invest? He's not on the board or a Director. But really, this excuse is getting very boring though. I think an investor meet up could put a lot of these questions to bed very quickly.

This is what investors now think of ECR and the RNSs they release. 3 trades, for less than £150 on a day of 'positive' results.

Max unfortunately for you, the 'de-rampers' as you call them are very much correct. Facts remain the facts, nothing will change the truth. ECR is, imo, a Ponzi scheme.

Creswick, why was it given away for free, why has it taken this long to still be collecting soil samples?

You must have gone to the same accounting school as the late CB. How in the hell do you think positive soil samples would increase our MCAP to £20m? Honestly, are you mad?! The jig is up, and ECR is down and out.

ECR is doomed to fail - there is no way this is climbing to 2p.

CEO not on the board and works part-time (as does EVERY other person in this 'company'), not a single Director bought in a LONG time, outrageous salaries being paid, complete willful negligence in cash management, the most trumped up 'resource' in the Philipines... the list goes on.

The next time this hits 2p will be in around 18 mths after another share consolidation, and probably called something other than ECR to try and dislodge the stink that comes from it.

Why is Rod M still holding a significant amount of shares? Feeling like this is getting too murky to invest in. We've now got a lot of people sucking from shareholders' tits, it's about time they start bloody delivering some news.

Disko is too large and has too much historical information to really say it could be a dud at this point. The fact that Kobold has come in on the project makes it even more interesting. One of the points raised when discussing Disko is the fact that could be possible to run on hydro, and that could in turn be used to provide energy to the human infrastructure on the mainland. That would obviously come with a massive cost attached and therefore you'd need partners with very deep pockets, and they need to be EU friendly. The resource/returns would also be massive and if JAY could keep a good proportion I'd be happy.

The US EXIM talk has dropped off but that is the same for the Citreon project further north, so may be geopolitical more than anything. Greenland is perfectly placed to fill a gap in the market, it just seems that it could still be a long time off.

Does a solid dividend feel like it could be 5 years away and not too unrealistic to think around 1.5-2p? Seems like very good value if we have a mine of 20+ years.

TS, you are not a normal person. You post on this board, and only this board, EVERY day, you have more interest in this company than a normal investor, and that is plain to see. You are paid to push ECR.

You are full of ****, end of. For some reason you have got yourself to this sad point in your life, I'm sure you had bigger dreams than this.

All the chat on this board is nonsense at the end of the day, we all have our personal viewpoints. It doesn't make sense though as to why certain people get so upset when people post negative comments on ECR, if they really believe in the company and its prospects you just have to sit back and wait. No point trying to defend the undefendable. The results of the last 10 years are not up for debate.
