Some interesting news from the coal face.I can imagine suppliers of perishables have an advantage in requesting cash up front from customers and why not. I haven't got the figures in front of me but CVR have stocks of non perishables of around 27 days so the bulk of orders will be fullfilled.This might actually improve cash-flow in the short term as prehaps supplier deliveries might dry up a bit. This still doesn't explain why the CFO was prepared to throw �131,000 at it on Friday 9th.He must be aware of the complete picture and to me buying at 109p was a good sign.

I would imagine Old Mutual would be up for buying 8 million at 50p!

Matt,if the business model remains the same,we should expect the net debt to increase.Bigger companies can carry more debt.This business has doubled in size and recievables financing facility grows with this plan.But agree some action needs to be taken,now that the company is taking a breather from growth.

Think we are being far too pessimistic. Suspension means to some extent CVR have taken back control of their share price.They can choose the timing and the correct news feed to re-commence trading. The current share price is not in anyone's interest if a RI is to be launched,better to put off to a later date but it will come.The immediate hurdle is �21.8m which they should achieve within the 9 remaining days.

Well,they aint going to trade if they got any sense until they have some good news. Never be suprised if it bounces in the right direction,101p is still a substantial fall from 400p at Xmas.

Good point London. When the CFO throws �131,000 of his money at the shares and it falls away another 6% from his buy price then i would guess they are a bit miffed off with the manipulation. OK he's not a dab hand with the calculator but he must know the general financial health of the company.

Think market was looking for a bit more than $135m (the obvious) but if they push some more smaller ones out it will be ok. topped up again at 492p,too early as usual but feel 500p is safe ish,its only half way through March.

Feel this is going to be good news.Hedge funds haven't budged an inch and they usually get a tip off if things are bad. Up to 10 days suits me fine.

Not sure what all the worry is about. 2017 full year EBITDA was up 102% to �60.9m,this years fig per latest RNS is expecting �55.3 to �56.4,this is assuming they cannot reduce overheads,something which a company has control over. From 1st update sales and orders are ahead of last year 2017.

However does it warrant a fall of 75% from Dec.Someone compared it to saga but their fall was from 180 to 120 or 33%

Think it was pretty much private investors at the end. That doesn't matter too much as the likes of Standard life,Kiltearn,Letko are cheesed off because they still took a massive hit reducing thier positions from late summer.

Very unusual time to release a rns,late afternoon on a Thursday.To me late day rns's have a maximum effect in either direction as the market is unprepared for them.
