Getting interesting now with Middle East tensions.I feel the pressure is going to be put on Iran,which would please Israel,Saudi Arabia and acceptable to Russia as the number one oil producer. Trump gets to save face as he's seen to have done something. I guess the Yanks and Russians could swap a few missiles but this would have an even greater hike on the oil price.The US has already dished out the punishment to Russia with the sanctions on oligarchs. Whatever happens the price of oil is kept high for US producers and their increasing exports of such. The're all a bunch of crooks,bit like the big 4 accountancy firms ere.

Dog,the sp on the 5th was no less than 519p so that 0.11% or 345,000 shares were sold above that price.

Marks view is a very fair one of how things currently stand. Bids,sales of assets are some time in the future and can never be guaranteed. Price of oil does look good but it doesn't gush out the ground any more so you need a higher price to extract and therefore many oil companies in future will not be making as much as you think if oil gets to $80 a barrel. Having said all that,Asfari i feel wouldn't have bought those shares if there was nothing happening but a realistic period of time has to elapse first.
