Orangetree,i would imagine recent investors bought in because they saw the Director buys,in particular The Audit chair and the CFO but your attachment has no mention on what lesson we can read from this. The Sunday Times yesterday devoted a page to Conviviality and their investigation revealed nothing on Director buys but mentioned "the beast from the east" as a contributory factor for failure. Come on Sunday Times we are relying on your investigative journalism to strike these directors off because no other bugger is.

The distressing thing is that some investors feel the system is still running smoothly,i was one of them. Having dodgy Directors can be checked if audit is doing its job, however Carillion had Deloittes and KPMG as accountants and this lead to a tremendously toxic mix. I would like justice but cannot see the authorities changing things,small investors,suppliers are deemed as expendable,so will have to be more careful in future but thats hard if you haven't got the truth in front of you. Yes, a meaningless vote for those now deceased but who knows prehaps a General election before 2022. Prehaps there should be a test for those over 80yrs,a fit to vote medical similar say to that required to drive a car. Far too many elderly visit a polling booth and require direction from a partner who tells them where to put the cross!.

LTI,the mortality rate for England and Wales is approx 500,000 a year of which the majority are the elderly and statistics indicate they voted for leave so it is a very important fact. In addition a similar number of young persons who are more likely to vote remain have been added to the electoral register so the maximum net effect could be closer to 2 million.

WG go ex divi next Thurs and PFC the following Thurs. Left a message on WG bb but they don't talk much but asking what was reason for todays bounce?. WG has identical short position to PFC, was it a vain attempt by hedgies to defend their position this morning which has clearly failed as every man and his dog have jumped in to buy. Of the same opinion,did try to sell early thinking yesterdays rise was unstainable,however couldn't get a firm price and hate selling at best so its back to wait and see and with oil rising on Middle East concerns this is becoming a blatant hold.

545 is nearly 5% on no real news,a little steep for one day.
