John,we is the BoE and the intention long term is to normalise rates at around 4-5%.The new normal medium term is 2-2.5%.Is it not G7 aim to get back to normal rates of interest?.

Theresa May did touch on taxation for NHS/social care 1 yr ago.Didn't go down well then but at some point they had to take it off the back burner. LTI,if 118% up i agree no need to panic.My concern would be with the mortgage providers for which Lloyds is by far the largest. We still have great demand for housing and the housebuilders will be more effected by margin reduction than banks but smaller/less mortgages will have a knock on effect?

Nick,for 90% of the time banking shares are boring safe havens and draw few post like Barclays/RBS,prehaps 1 or 2 a day.In lloyds case that would be Asp1 pointing out the number of buy-backs and LTI saying its a very good long term investment.Sure we stray sometimes away from Lloyds or economic events which might effect Lloyds,however i struggle to believe some folks cannot keep up?. LastCall,currently we are treated as equals along with all other EU citizens.Possibly from next march we will have to have visa's etc bit like what we require for the U.S.We will also be required to have details of where we are staying,reason for visiting and no doubt restrictions on how long we are likely to stay-usual clap trap etc. I would say thats a reduction in freedom. I guess if you don't like freedom then its a positive.
