Agree JG shame we can't get this moving above 6t with a good market day today. Guess this won't move up much until there is company good news.

We just need a bit of luck with an equity fund / competitor making a takeover bid or second best the bod having a change in management and we will get a nice rally. We've all been deep in the red on this for a while so any piece of good news is welcome !

If west midlands bus makes a loss or extremely low profit.. then who agreed to this must be immediately sacked.. as shareholders who have suffered massive losses. We should absolutely insist on this.

The fact that there are no rumours on a takeover is very alarming for us investors. Struggling to stay at 60p we could be looking at 40p before the years out and a government bailout where us investors will lose 95% of our investment if them results are terrible come March which let's face it there is a high probability!

Genghis I'm trying to determine their times earnings if based on my calculations at that profit projection is 6.5 times. I'm aware there is a premium when takeover happens.

My understanding looking at some figures is if the company meets the projection of 185m earnings based on 6.5 times would equal approx £1.2bn

Debt as we know is approx £1.2b so based on this calculation someone buying this company would get their money back in 6.5 years. Is that right guys ????

The cash they have spare is equal to their market cap so that cancels that out.

Shareholders need to remove Ignacio Garat from his job with immediate effect. What are they waiting for. The guy has lost all credibility, anyone of us could do a better job. I would have started by never giving a hefty pay rise !

I think I've figured it out guys. Paddyboy is ceo Mr Ignacio Garat in disguise !!! His been posting what a wonderful share this is for a long while and still will be when it is down to nothing. Don't get sucked into his comments as they're all based on wishful thinking or what ifs.

Sorry guys. But a lot said on this board is just wishful thinking. Share price is dropping to record lows every day.. were losing money hand over fist. Board members like Ignacio Garat and James Stamp are hanging onto their high paid jobs when we all know they should resign or be forced out. A part of good investing is selling and cutting your losses. Something we all should have done a while back. Unless we get hostle takeover offer these shares have a good chance to halve again. We're talking 30p. How many on this board are prepared to see what's left of their investment drop to those levels...

With this Bod in charge we don't stand much of a chance regarding costs being controlled. They already demonstrated that with a ridiculous pay rise to drivers and an announcement of a divi to name a few ! As with earnings i dont inderstand why they are not increasing fares. £2 for a single fare is too cheap compared to other modes of transport.

Maybe I'm overreacting because as many of us are down very heavy on this and looking for some reassurance based on factual information of course. Would you care to explain a few reasons why you think it is a crazy comparison as the more it keeps dropping the more it feels like we will lose all of our hard earnt money.

Markets are at least 12 months forward thinking. If selling the NA business is so good in terms of value etc as most on this board keep saying then why are the shares dropping to new lows. Today we touched the 50s again and it pains me to say it but we have all got this wrong. The company is in very serious trouble. Ask yourselves why has no one launched a hostile takeover ?? There is not even the slightest glimpse of any rumours of a takeover bid. This definitely smells like cineworld or something very close. Yes they had a mountain of debt and were never going to survive but were heading the same way, especially if we start to lose contracts as we are not even turning over a profit .

Regarding the shorts positions I cannot seem to see any new positions started as they always seem to know if a big drop is on the way...

What are everyone's views on that. Seems like 60p might be a good time to get out. Who's holding to the death ?
