Hi sorry, no, BA dont operate there, my response point was that IBX, IB, VUL, LVL account for a good wedge of IAG Revenue, so whether BA are flying there or not, operational disruption is always going to impact Rev/profit and potentially the SP.

BA don’t. Iberia Air Europa and Level fly a significant number of routes to South America including Venezuela

I think limited impact… hoping that Russian airspace at some point will be re-opened which is far more critical to the Asia markets… not soon but perhaps in a year or so

Back in today; I dipped out at 370 (from around 220 post-trump tariffs dip) during the post-results correction, but have been watching over the past few weeks; the SP has been pretty resilient and drops seem to have been supported as we have gone along. My big fear was what the Wicked Witch of Westminster was going to get up to today. Was in for 50k after the OBR leaked with an option for another load if I needed to average down. Worked out quite nicely in the end. I think that this is a longer term buy; I am still concerned on the state of the economy and will be keeping an macro picture.

Sad that we lost 3 months worth of solid gains in a day.

My thinking. RASK is a concern. We are going to face a pretty savage budget where a lot of cash is going to be stolen from pockets, BA is the main breadwinner at IAG.

The changes in reward are again a concern, as it’s “demand pulled forward”; a lot of premium will have bought tickets and travel purely to get tier points.

The YoY revenue is a bit of a disappointment too - either load factors have dropped, or they are dropping the ticket price to fill aircraft.

I think that until the new deliveries start to arrive, we won’t see much in the way of rev. Growth here - IAG seem to be capped out at the moment with aircraft flown out.

Good points - lots of gold (or at least, debt reduction) in hand here. IAG seems to be very liquid. We seem to be on the precipice of a fairly significant contraction (global recession)? That is going to stress a lot of smaller outfits out. The market is prime for consolidation; a downturn will give a chance to fulfil old Willie’s primary mantra - always make the most of a good crisis.
