Agree - they are a great counterbalance to what could be unproductive vanity projects, excessive compensation, nissin influence on products etc - they are our champion in the boardroom and have our backs because their interest is our interest. I see upside this year definitely - better terms with supers will begin to flow though in next update.

Doubt oasis want to buy it all - they have pledged not to in fact - only going to a max if 15%. They are there because they think there is value and the market is undervaluing so they are kicking butts in management which is really good - in charge of the remuneration committee should concentrate minds and I think a lot of the good work recently is because of their pressure. They will want an exit over a 3-5 year period I imagine.

I'm 90% sure there will be an rns in the next few days saying someone - I imagine oasis- has bought an extra 1% I doubt though that it will move the share price I won't waste time going over why I'm in here as I have done previously - it's a 3 year view I see a potential doubling in price in that timeframe but if you don't you should sell up on any small spikes like when the rns does come out.

They have about a week to disclose - it's been 3 days - let's see by end of the week

Is there more to do - of course - debt is still too high , sales have been lacklustre but these things can't be done overnight. I'm not worried about pension deficit- the discount rate is at the lowest of all time and will unwind. I'd like to see us selling an asset - hovis perhaps- if we can get cash to reduce net debt to healthier levels but that relies on a willing buyer !

Paulson sold their remaining 2% a few weeks back and have been weighing on the market ever since. This is most likely oasis doing what they said they'll do and increase their share holding. Modestly positive in that they must think now is a good time to buy

Someone just bought 1% of the company ( it wasn't me). Rns time unless a new entrant but that is probably unlikely - most likely oasis I guess.

Don't know why they spend so much energy with negative views - if you think it's shit then sell up and move on !!! Not to say I'm uncritical of the board I think they could have done a lot of stuff better to try and equate daily share price moves to management honesty etc is non sensible I don't really understand the bond issue announcement though - is the interest higher lower or the same ??

That's right - sales down because supers have stopped doing multibuy promos - but premier creating their own multipacks as a substitute. On the downside - the 50 redundant staff and report are going to cost about 8m in cash !

err it IS agreeing further finance - that's what I am asking - they are swapping £175m of bonds for £210m of bonds but reducing their rolling credit Question is what interest rate they will achieve on the £210m and how much lower (or higher ) will it be on current arrangements

Does anyone have an idea of what interest rate the new bond finance might be acquired at - presumably as debt is significantly down on a few years ago when the old debt was issued we might save on interest ?
