not to nitpit but the �50M cash is included in the net assets of �150M so you cant count twice. also all the assets you describe - computer systems and whatnot are also included in the net assets. that said a business with assets of �150M shouldn't be valued at �100M unless it is burning through cash which Flybe isnt in operating terms so I do agree there should be significant upside

I always lover takeover situations. So this share was mid to low 30s before the interest but wit green shoots.of growth. the announcement brings it up to mid 40s. For me the upside is anything from 60-70 p whereas the downside is probably now at 40p as it is in play even if the Stobart approach doesn't work out it will always have tat premium. Definitely worth the risk in my view

no idea why its not showing but I just bought �3K more this am. Total gamble but surely there will be some news soon - could quadruple or could be worthless in a few weeks but then the viking would lose his money so I'm hoping he's not prepared to do that !

Surely it’s just a bit of profit taking .... I myself sold a chunk (but still have 100k+ shares) to lock in some profits as I doubt much will happen here until April before which I may well jump back in. Absolutely potential to hit £1 by year end of all goes right but could see it going back to mid 30s until April.

I’ve been a bit burned here before so take with a ounce of salt but when management who lets face it know a heck of a lot more that we do invest significantly at a price about 13% higher than this 94p price then I think it is a strong buy. Ive went In strongly here liquidating a few shares I believe in vbr cause I think the sell off is well overdone - 110 within 4 weeks, 125 by Easter

The fact that the Viking hasn’t resubmitted his demand for an egm must mean that either he was publicly full of sh”t which I don’t believe for a second or there are behind the scenes negotiations going on about how to progress. We should expect an announcement at any point !

I wonder what the delay is in resubmitting the egm demand ?

I wouldn't think he'd want to buy it all at least until there is an agreement on debt. The truth is bondholders have a lot more cash to lose than shareholders which puts shareholders in a decent negotiating position. He can say take a 10/20/30% haircut or if you don't you will lose 70 or 80% when the company collapses. If he were to buy the whole company he would be in a position where he too would be at risk of significant loss. The bondholders should take the haircut - they knew the risk hence the 8.5% rate and then he will probably buy the whole thing

15% down so far because of lack of progress in debt restructuring i guess

They already said that it would be the second half when the bulk of the benefit would appear so I'm not sure we should expect fireworks but nice and steady would be giod

Not really sure what is going on here really - good results showing them turning the corner with a sustainable business emerging from a brutal industry change - but the SP has been hit badly. We really need the plan for the debt restructure I guess - big shareholders cant be happy (I'm certainly not!!)
