I look at the new market cap of 366m and think it’s still very low for the incredible technology this company has developed and more importantly got the gold standard of approval on. Onward and upward

Patience definitely the name of the game but I’m impressed how stable the FTC share price has been whilst the rest of the tech market has been melting down

Whilst tech and growth stocks have been routed it’s notable how Itaconix has remained steady as a rock. Really believe this is gonna jump up on the next piece of good news

It’s clear from the trading update that the company will soon need further finances. However I think the company will hold on until it receives the green light from the FDA as this should send the share price surging, meaning they will have to give away less of the company to raise the necessary funds.

Interesting to see the difference in market reaction to todays 4.5p announcement versus last year’s 12.1p cash raise. The fact that the share price has not instantly dropped to 4.5p and has actually been trading slightly up IMO shows that the market thinks the bottom has been hit. I expect the next piece of positive news to see a significant jump followed by further jumps up on more good news. The days of 5p a share are likely very limited.

The very small 300k fund raise also de-risks the stock for those sat on the sidelines worried there might have been a big fund raise coming.

I read this as demand outstripping supply which is excellent news. 300k is small change if it establishes a firm Itaconix footprint in Europe.

Managed to get in at 25p. IMO the SP could double this year. Astonishingly good trading update!

Never been more excited about the opportunity at Itaconix. Based on the latest investor presentation I believe there is a string of good news ahead this year and next year. In the near future growth stocks are likely to bounce from their suppressed level when the Ukraine conflict ends. Genuinely believe the stock price will be treble what it currently is by the end of this year.

I felt todays presentation provided a lot more insight into the different branches of the company. For me the key points were:
1. 2022 will be a good year for the cleaning products. Revenue up and break even
2. Super absorbent products are a big money spinner already and will continue to grow significantly
3. Beauty products are relatively low revenue but a profitable side of the business. What was interesting was JS saying low revenue equates to just millions not tens of millions. So from this I deduce he sees the cleaning and super absorbent lines as being in the tens of millions in the next couple of years.
It seems they will continue to reinvest in product development over the next couple of years so I expect revenue to grown significantly but profits to be low due to reinvestment as the company grows to carve out a bigger share of the addressable market.

Today’s RNS is a helpful reminder to doubting Thomas’s why we are invested here. If Itaconix cracks any of the multiple markets it is targeting then it will be a massive success. In the short to medium term the superabsorbent polymers (SAPs) market estimated at $9.0 billion in 2020 looks the biggest opportunity.

Great to see FTC turn a profit in such a challenging year. From my experience once a tech company turns profitable the future is very rosy. 5G will only accelerate in the months ahead so FTC is in a sweet spot to capitalise

I agree this remains a long term hold and the fundamentals have not changed. The current share price is simply a reflection of the general sell off in tech/innovation combined with a lack of demand for ITX shares due to lacklustre trading updates. Optimistically 2022 will be the year ITX turns a profit. Pessimistically the company gets bought out for its vast array of Intellectual Property and patents. So I’m not worried as in either scenario the share price will likely be a lot higher than these levels. Feels like some here are angling for an even cheaper entry point.

Must admit to feeling a bit envious at those who are now buying in at 3.5p compared to my
9p. Think you have bought in at a very low risk price and the potential upside is tremendous. Good luck all , whatever price you bought in at.

LV I think the using the term “sub scale” is a bit unfair. Rather they are still at an early stage of their development. I do agree that cash flow is an issue as it appears they are not yet making a profit though we will need to wait for the full 2021 accounts for confirmation. I still don’t believe they would do a cash raise below last years 12.1p per share so remain optimistic that there will be a succession of good news to come over the next few months.

They will not do a cash raise when the share price is stuck in the doldrums. Look at last year’s example. The cash raise followed a string of positive sentiment and the share price was from recollection about 14-15p. So if a cash raise is required it is likely to come only after positive updates with the share price a lot higher than it is now.

@TheSoundMan - completely agree. I swore I wouldn’t keep adding but it’s too darn tempting at these ridiculous levels
