Seems today good news has pulled the day traders in to make a quick slash and burn profit. Guess we will have to get used to more of that moving forward.

I’m backing Drizzy to win his claim that the share price will be over 8p (or 80p in new money) within 8 weeks. In fact I think it could happen quicker:
1. We’ve still got todays AGM at 1pm where the share consolidation will be approved. This opens the door to making ITX much more attractive to US investors.
2. 6th July the upcoming capital markets presentation will also hopefully attract new private investors
3. Trading update probably on 13th July (they like their Wednesday updates).

When you look at today’s buys, with all due respect they are low volume. Probably several of us here have added today. Even though the numbers aren’t massive look at the impact on share price (up 30% at time of writing). This is because the free share float is so low. The above events and share price movement are likely to bring in new investors who will help drive up the price buying what available shares there are.
I’ve not felt this bullish since I first invested in ITX.

Just added another 20,000 at 4.7pence. Lots happening in July. AGM on 1st July with approval of share consolidation. Capital markets webinar on 6th July. Trading update second half of July.

RNS released

I will be very interested to see if shares start being bought up in the US once the share consolidation is approved on Friday. Remember this was the reason implied in the recent presentation i.e. US investors won’t buy penny stocks. As we all know the free float is small so any uptick in the US could have a dramatic impact on share price.

Continuing to make little top ups whilst the price is so low. Hopefully after the July trading date these sorts of levels will be history.
Would like to think we’ve had all the bad news that could be thrown at the general market: Covid, Inflation, Ukraine, Recession. Likewise for ITX after a tough 2021 it feels they are back on track based on their recent presentations and if they start hitting their projections the share price should rise rapidly. Remember the stock market looks at where will the company be in a years time not where is it today.

AJP I really don’t know but I’m hoping it’s a positive. Anyway the best way they can ensure a favourable price is to release some good news prior to 1st July :-)

“If approved by shareholders, the Consolidation will be effected at 6.00 p.m. on such date as the Directors may determine, provided that at the date of the Consolidation the closing mid-market price of the Existing Ordinary Shares is not less than £0.04”.

Thanks Frozen Assets, that was my thinking as well i.e. it’s almost instantaneous. It’s being voted on at 1pm on 1st July and is formally one of the resolutions for approval. I had to vote by 27th June.

Once the share consolidation resolution is passed on 1st July am SH02 form is completed and sent to Companies House. The shareholders’ register and other company records must the. be updated to show the revised number of shares held in the new nominal value by each shareholder. Finally new share certificates are issued. Given everything is electronic nowadays I don’t think it will take long to transact.

Decided to add 20,000 shares this morning after receiving an email asking me for my vote at the general meeting. The brokers and company are clearly determined to get the share price up in the near future and I don’t want to miss this opportunity.

Because of how the money markets work I don’t see much of a rise coming until mid July immediately prior to the RNS. Unless there is another unexpected RNS. Historically following similar lacklustre RNS updates there has been a drop in SP over the following 10 days before it stabilises. Hence as a LTH I’m planning to add more in about 10 days time.

So the next trading update is likely to be around 20th July. For me it looks low risk as they have reaffirmed today that they are on track to meet 2022 revenue. That would mean a nice bump up from the same period in 2021 which we know was an awful year. Hopefully that will be the start of the recovery in share price. I expect some share price drift over the next couple of weeks and will be looking to add around the 4.5p mark.

I actually thought the presentation was extremely positive. If Itaconix can deliver what they say they are going to deliver in 2022/23/24 then they (we) have a very rosey future.
The 10:1 proposed proxy split was an understated Easter Egg. Shares are already hard to come by but the proposed change will open them up to US investors who are massive compared to the U.K. Do not underestimate the impact this would have on share price!

I genuinely believe we are one positive RNS from the SP doubling. Just hope that RNS is tomorrow! If not I will continue patiently hold. GLA

Hoping that within either Wednesday’s year end report or the investor event in the afternoon we receive a nice Easter Egg or two e.g. a positive forecast revenue prediction or news on new customers or products. After what happened a year ago I’m a little nervous but this week I am more excited as the new brokers seem to be steering Itaconix in the right direction. If they hit the right notes it could be a Jubilee Wednesday

I’m not sure which way the RNS will send the share price as it is reporting the 2021 figures which we all know were not great. The Q&A session at 2pm however may give us a lift.

Well yesterday another of my investments finally paid off at Angle who got their long awaited FDA approval. After a rough year at Itaconix it rekindled my faith in my investments and reminded me that patience is the key. It also increasingly feels to me that this bear market is bottoming out and the potential rewards for many technology stocks such as Itaconix are enormous in coming years. Itaconix hits the sweet spot of technological innovation in the environmental sphere which this decade will increasingly be focused on.
