Wow! Well I did say yesterday things at home were unstable. Chancellor sacked, a second U turn. At this rate they’ll be bringing Boris back!

Unfortunately the US CPI monthly report was not good news so no doubt the markets will take another battering. Who knows what will happen closer to home but it feels very unstable. I hope there is some good news soon or I think we could dip around 4p in the coming weeks. If so, I will add as the markers will switch from Bear to Bull at some point and when that happens historically the jump is very fast so I would not want to miss it.
My average is around 7.5p now so it hurts to see the share price this low but I see it as an opportunity to get my average lower in anticipation of a very positive 2023

These next few days could be an amazing opportunity to top up depending what happens with:
1. Today’s US Inflation report at 1.30
2. Market turmoil in the U.K. next week if BoE sticks to its word and withdraws support

If Itaconix dips to 4p I’m adding big time

Looking at previous years I can’t see a trading update for July to September period following H1. The next trading update has always been in January. Might explain the share price drift.

As a matter of curiosity why didn’t Steve Moore from Share P like the look of Itaconix?

It is massive news but the problem with this RNS (and others in the past) is that John Shaw hasn’t given any description of what this will mean for the company financially or developmentally.
They really need to learn to put a bit more meat on the bones to get the share price moving! But as others have speculated it might not be in the company’s interest to drive the share price higher for a few months.

Thanks for the code 100 buy explanation AJP and congrats on your buy at 5p. That’s the attitude I take. Rather than be depressed about the current share price I see it as an opportunity to add on the dips.
I’ve bought ITX shares up to 13p previously and I ask myself is the company in a better or worse position since then. I think we all know the answer to that. So buying at 5p is an easy decision for me.
It’s an odd human characteristic that we are hesitant to buy when something is cheap lol

Yes unfortunately as word of Itaconix’s success grows it will attract more day traders looking to make a quick buck on the day. Personally I see days like yesterday as an opportunity to top up.

Can anyone please explain why the consolidation is end of year or early next year and not sooner?
The company didn’t explain this which really annoyed me. Realistically I can’t see it happening before the January trading update now which I anticipate will be a good one. But then today’s was a good one and look what happened!

Also I felt at the end they shared our frustration with the share price.

I was frustrated that they are delaying the share consolidation and didn’t give any reason for this. Why end of year / early next year???
Until the next piece of good news I think the share price will trickle downwards again.

Hi Surfie, I don’t think any of us our experts but as LTHs we all believe strongly in Itaconix or we wouldn’t be invested. My stepson is in the same position as you which he reminds me of every day!
The RNS is very positive and revenue for both 2022 and 2023 has been raised. The 2023 is a big jump up on 2022 so clearly the company is progressing well.
I do think the share price could have gone up today. This morning the share price hovered around 7p with the market not sure which way to go. I don’t think yesterdays CPI inflation reading helped with general market sentiment down and back in Bearish territory.
I also wish the share price had flown up today but I am content to be patient as I believe it will move upwards because of everything in today’s RNS which will hopefully be elaborated on in the 3pm presentation.

Let’s see whether the Analyst and Investor presentations have any impact. Hoping for that second bounce!

FinnCap have increased the expected revenue targets for both 2022 and 2023

FinnCap: In FY23, we have increased revenue from $7.6m to $8.0m, conservatively holding forecasts unchanged at EBITDA breakeven.

13th July RNS: “The company is in a strong position to MEET market expectations for revenues in 2022.”

Today’s RNS: “The Company remains on course to deliver full year 2022 revenues AHEAD of current market expectations based on progress in commercial volumes and success in passing on increases in direct costs.”

Reading through today’s RNS there is incredible growth happening on all fronts - products, applications, existing customers and new customers. This company is starting to see the exponential growth LTHs talked about in early 2021.

After a restless night it is wonderful to see so much of our research and predictions met in the RNS in terms of what we predicted in continued revenue growth, product development and new customers. So much to digest and carefully read through. Looking forward to this afternoon’s discussion. Enjoy your day!

Here’s my best case scenario:
Wednesday part 1: Positive RNS sends share price up in the morning. Inevitably day traders take profits at lunchtime.
Wednesday part 2: Presentations in afternoon drop some golden nuggets of information not explicitly contained in RNS leading to late afternoon share price rise.
Thursday: Analysts reflect on previous day’s presentation and issue new price target leading to further jump.

Now wouldn’t that be nice ??

I expect the first 3 hours tomorrow to be mayhem. If it’s positive news the day traders are gonna pile in and this will rocket before they sell off later for their quick buck. So many reasons to be feeling extremely positive for tomorrow but nothing in this world is guaranteed.
