For once, I’ve timed my top up buy yesterday at £1.00 spot on. Today’s Buy price is already up to £1.17. Nice to feel happy with ITX for a change. Onwards and upwards.

Hi Elsol glad you are still invested. I was worried you might have sold out as hadn’t heard from you for a while. As long as the long term investors remain I have confidence that Itaconix will eventually come good.

It certainly feels like this right now and I totally understand and sympathise with the negative comments. However ….the company has laid out a clear strategy and there is decent evidence that it is delivering on its strategy. We have to wait for the next trading update to confirm how that translates into hard numbers.

I’m a bit twitchy about the US election, but that aside, unless there is some unknown bad news leaking out then I am more than happy to continue adding at this level. This is rapidly turning into a boom or bust investment so only invest what you are comfortable loosing whilst in pursuit of multi-bagger gains.

On bright side at least it’s helped me average down.

What’s worrying is that I can get a price to add shares £1.17 but I can’t get a live quote to sell even a small volume of shares. That usually indicates there is a big sell trying to be made. I’m not wanting to sell any shares but I’m trying to get an indication of whether we have hit bottom yet.

Can anyone else get a live quote to sell their shares?

Hi AJP there would certainly be a strong case for a European production facility in that scenario but they would likely want another fund raise for that so I really hope that doesn’t become necessary until the company is profitable.

In terms of who’s gonna win, it will all boil down to Pennsylvania. I really think it’s 50:50 and there will be weeks of wrangling again. How 4 years has flown by!

Gerald you have a great memory. I’ve just rewatched the video from the end of July. I believe the “exit” JS slips into the conversation is something the company has discussed extensively but in a different context. I believe it is in relation to “exiting” the period of reduced revenue caused by the ditching of the low margin customer. The company knew this would be a painful period for share price and that the exit from this period will be early next year.

There is a mountain of evidence to support the company achieving its plan as documented by fellow posters - more staff - longer operational hours - more customers - more products - more marketing - more shipments and so on…

Before adding more ITX I am waiting on the outcome of the election next week as higher tariffs would be bad news for the reasons AJP has explained. For a start the company would have to renegotiate prices with all customers if it is to retain gross margins. It’s an upheaval they don’t need!

I wonder if the recent share price has factored in a worry factor with the uncertainty about the US election next week.

Former President Donald Trump campaigns on a pledge to hit all goods coming into the country with a 10%-20% tariff, or border tax, which would rise to 60% for goods from China. That would materially affect Itaconix which sources its raw material from China and is one of the reasons I believe the company has ramped up imports.

Therefore depending which way the election goes we could either see a bump or a dip in share price. From its current level I’d like to think the only way is up but what do I know!

I posted a few months ago that I feared this would happen to the price, following the strategic decision to jettison their largest but miserly margins customer, and drew some angry responses. IMO it is the lull before the next trading update where we expect to see evidence of real progress.

Clearly someone’s patience ran out today or they just saw a better short term opportunity. Once the dust settles I will add more at this price as I have no issue waiting a few weeks or months for the next trading update. Surely we can’t go down much more from this ridiculous level?

Reading the transcript of the proactive interview about the SPARX program what caught my eye was the focus on expanding into laundry care which is an enormous market. Surely it is just a matter of time before the 2025 and onward years revenue forecasts are upgraded. Remember the aim is to get to 100m revenue I think by 2030. Here is what John Shaw said:

Laundry care is one of our biggest targets. It’s a huge, demanding market, but we see significant opportunities to improve performance in areas like cleaning, odor control, and even fabric longevity. Beyond laundry, we’re also looking at beauty care and pet care, where there’s a strong demand for high-performing, sustainable solutions.

Hi AJP I’m not sure they are all sells. The live price I’m being quoted is 130p to buy so some of these could be buys. Think we just have to be patient until the next trading update which may come sooner than expected.

Plus the impact of the new SPARX collaboration to launch at least 10 new products in 2025 will surely increase revenue

Would genuinely like to know why someone has just sold 10,000 shares?

What are your reasons for this? Is there something we are missing because I am struggling to see a future downside to the company’s future.

1. Update on how the SEPAWA congress went and business wins.

2. Q3 trading update

3. Revision to 2025 revenue forecast

4. Update on any significant application advancements eg superabsorbents

Hi AJP there certainly is so much happening on the Itaconix LinkedIn page. It is worth monitoring as closely as RNS announcements. You get a real insight who the company is rubbing shoulders with.

I really feel it is a case of ‘when’ not ‘if’ the share price is going to fly up. Yes they have often promised jam tomorrow as another poster recently commented but the difference now is the financial clout, new non-exec directors, emerging partnerships, expanding workforce, new marketing strategy, expansion of product range, completely new applications, new technology, growing consumer demand, the list just goes on.

I can’t predict when the share price is going to take off, but take off it will!

This was the sentence from the Proactive Investor article that really got my attention. “The company plans to announce several collaborations with key partners in the coming months.”

On LinkedIn today there is a post by ACF Equity Research on SPARX. What is interesting is the 3 other companies it tags in the last paragraph:

The RNS begs more questions than it answers. For example who are the other ingredient suppliers, contract manufacturers, and brands?

10 new products within 12 months is some going so this sounds like a major collaboration. I am surprised the share price has not gone up higher today.

Time to add more shares!
