The fact we can get instant prices to sell our shares but not to add/buy shares is a very good sign. It really won’t take much of a squeeze for the price to shoot up.

The traders are taking a big 5.5% spread at present. 161p to 170p. Easy money for them.

Just think by now Itaconix will know it’s H2 figures and is busy analysing them and preparing the trading update. Next week is a real possibility for an announcement. Based on AJPs shipment info hopefully we will see predicted revenue exceeded and / or an increase to forecast. Would love it if the move to forecast profit came forward from mid 2026 to end 2025

Hi AJP yes I’m also struggling to buy more shares. I was surprised to see the price down today given a trading update is imminent and wondered if it was market manipulation to get a cheaper price.

Anyway what ‘sparxed’ my interest if you pardon the pun, was one of the post likes was from an Applications Specialist at Brenntag who have an 8.5Bn Euro market cap. They have many divisions including:

I think there is far more to the SPARX program than we realise.

Nobody knows but my hunch is they will want to get the good news out asap to start driving the share price up which is good for business.

Mid January would be my best guess.

Someone’s just loaded up 5500 shares. This is the most excited I have ever been for an Itaconix trading update. Any upward revised guidance would send shares rocketing. They have been super busy on all fronts over the past 6 months as highlighted by LTHs here and in their frequent LinkedIn posts. The trading update will be the first one that reflects this activity. Literally counting the days. Bring it on!!!

I really can’t see much if any downside risk to the current position. Itaconix is still only around 3p in old money but the company is now lightyears ahead of where is was when the price was over 12p. The fact that there is such a tight float means that it won’t take much good news to get the price significantly moving. I am really looking forward to the trading update and in particular the updated guidance. Merry Christmas one and all.

Come on Surfie cheer up. We know there’s a trading update coming next month and we have every reason to believe it will be a good one. The update from Research Tree that follows it will be particular insightful as to future expectations.

2024 was sadly a write off in terms of share price due to the strategic decision to ditch the rubbish margin customer. But m, and it is a big ‘but’, the company has made massive progress replacing that lost income with high margin business. It has also significantly expanded its team, dramatically increased raw material imports and been actively marketing on a scale I have not seen before. It may not be a Merry Christmas but it should be a Happy New Year

Excellent news AJP. I think that’s the team filled. No vacancies at the Inn! I totally agree 2025 is going to be transformative… small company to global leader!

Usually the trading update lands at the end of January but I have a feeling it will land early this time. Reason being that the company should be releasing good news, and should want to get this out asap. I’m hoping for 7th/8th Jan but 14th/15th may be more realistic. I think this is probably the most excited LTHs have been for a long time for an upcoming Trading Update.

Lol I sometimes wonder if the Simply Wall St articles are written by AI bots. However good to see the interest in Itaconix.

I predict investor interest will surge in January on the back of the trading update. I firmly believe 2025 will be the year we return to glory.

IF the trading update is what I anticipate then I expect to see a doubling in share price to 250p by end of January 2025. That is low hanging fruit.

I genuinely believe we could see over 500p by the end of 2025 as there are so many elements coming to fruition in 2025: New customers, New Partnerships, New Products including super-absorbents, New Applications, Greatly expanded marketing / operational team and limited shares available.

GLA and DYOR

Another great spot AJP. Now is the logical time to buy, ahead of what we expect to be a very positive trading update in mid January. If buyers wait for the trading update they will miss out on the greatest potential gains and we know how fast the price can move on relatively small volume.

Only odd thing is that the aquis trade didn’t show in the Yahoo finance statistics today.

Excellent spot AJP and an excellent addition to the Itaconix team in a vitally important area - Global supply chain / Operations / Data & Analytics. Shows the scale of the company’s plans for 2025 and beyond.

We have now fallen below both the 200 day moving average (156.7p) and the 50 day moving average (132p). A change in share price direction is imminent IMO and my experience of Itaconix.

The high for this year was 274p and the company is now in a much stronger position than it was at the start of the year with some excellent partnerships emerging along with many new product lines. From today’s price of 125p that’s an easy 100% gain in the coming months by my projections. Seriously undervalued and a correction has to come. GLA and DYOR.

The share price has stabilised after the panic caused by the US election result which was based on a lot of assumptions and definite over reaction IMO. At the end of the day if raw material prices go up then the price of finished goods will also go up and that will actually boost revenue numbers.

We know there is a massive trading update coming mid January so people will start accumulating Itaconix in the run up to that, especially now they see the price ain’t dropping any more. Then if the trading update hits all the right notes we could easily be double the current price or better. Remember it doesn’t take a lot of buys to shift the price quickly.

Forget about the deals on Amazon and other retailers websites, the current Itaconix share price appears to me as the best Black Friday offer available.

If you read the articles this morning on BBC or Sky or elsewhere there are 2 positives to glean:

1. The size of the threatened tariffs is less than quoted during the election campaign

2. The threat of tariffs is clearly about negotiating changes to foreign governments policies such as illegal drugs or migration.

I’m not suggest there won’t be additional tarrifs on China but I suspect they will be smaller than anticipated and shorter lived

Lol JS may not be the most polished presenter but he is certainly getting a lot of invites these days. Really can’t knock the company on their presence over recent months. I believe it’s all going to translate into exceeding revenue targets and a quicker route to profit. The company appears to be doing all the right things IMO and the current share price is an opportunity.

Hi AJP I think that Itaconix is already available in these formats (pods and tablets) in Europe but North America is a massive new market to tap. I think this will take off exponentially as who uses wash powder over pods or tablets given the choice?

I think the sell off on the election result is over blown as no-one can predict what the new administration will do. So much of it is bluster and hard negotiating.

Whereas we are all expecting a very positive trading update for H2. I think the price will start to recover in the run up to the TU and a good TU could see us back in the 200s

Bessant is more moderate than a lot of the other names who were mentioned for the key treasury role.

He has characterised Trump’s support for border taxes as a negotiating tool, suggesting the president-elect isn’t necessarily committed to aggressively raising duties.

He’s also very pro crypto so a free market liberalist.
